“I was passing through Calgary on the way to Grand Cache and this place was a 3 min walk from my hotel. The outside didn’t look like much, but the atmosphere inside was nice and relaxing. The food was incredible! Very nice presentation and a ton of flavor. I had the clay pot rice with duck breast and it was perfect. The kimchi that came with it was excellent as well. They also had a cool selection of unique cocktails. If I am ever in Calgary again I will definitely stop back.“

“Awesome deal for good vegan Chinese food. My daughter and I enjoyed the $13.50 lunch with curried noodles. It came with spring rolls and jasmine tea. There were multiple varieties of veggie meats yum“

“I’ve tried many Chinese food places in calgary and this place has to be one of my favourites.
The ginger beef and sweet and sour kitchen were nice and crispy but yet still very saucy. The vegetables had lots of brocolli which I love. Everything tasted amazing.
The portion sizes are excellent for a meal for two. Both had dinner and have some leftovers for tomorrow.
This is my new go to restaurant. Highly recommend.“

“I as well as my family have been dining and having delivery from Bills new location in Calgary for many years. The food for dinner for 2–excellent— added an extra entree with the deep fried shrimp . It was so delicious and so good. We recommend them highly.“

“The steamed pork buns in the bamboo basket were easily the best part of my night after the Clippers game. I am basically the whole package, so a smart cute guy should reach out before someone else does. You have the opening, so make it count.“

“Their signature dish is one fish and five corn bread. I would high recommend a group of people dining in instead of one person, this way you can try a variety of Northeastern Chinese cuisine, it would be hard to get satisfied with only one dish.“

“It was small, but in the way a mom and pop shop is. The servers were sweet and attentive, but not hovering. The food… how do I even begin? Only twice in my life have I had food so amazing that I cried, and this was the second one. I was so happy. Everything was fresh and perfect. The dishes were huge, the pudding was amazing. I will be going back. I’m so excited to eat the leftovers. If the staff are reading this: I love you so so so much please stay in business forever.“

“Great place to stop by for a late dinner. All of the dishes we got were prepared well with generous portions (green beans, pork chop, chow mien, crispy chicken). The fortune crispy chicken was very crispy and cooked perfectly so was still moist.
The service from the entire team is friendly and attentive. I appreciated the prompt refills for tea and clearing of empty plates!
3 for atmosphere as it is kind of small so when it is busy it’s hard to navigate around and can get quite loud and there is only one bathroom (albeit a very modern and clean one). These are minor inconveniences however that are out of their immediate control and the food and service by far makes up for it!“

“We have been ordering here for several years and I think this is the best take out Chinese food around. Our meal a couple of nights ago was outstanding. Food is always fresh, beautifully cooked and with generous portions. We love ordering a good variety so there are yummy leftovers for future lunches. We use our air fryer to refresh the crispness of the salt and pepper squid. Works like a charm. Highly recommended.“

The best Chinese food we’ve eaten ever.
The beef tomatoe and chicken pineapple( not gluten free) were incredibly tasty huge amounts also so everyone had choices and enjoyed. Love the old style restaurant and while it feels like 1974 I loved the retro feel. Like the old day good food and friendly people. Was yummy and highly recommend it“

“My wife and I have been going to Ho Won for over 20 years. We’ve brought friends and family with us to Ho Won many times over the years. Everyone is always impressed and always love the food as much as we do. Serving staff is so good at their jobs. It’s rare to get such professional and experienced servers anymore. “Three of us who haven’t worked together in a decade have made Central Grand our semi-annual gathering spot. Dim sum is fun, fresh, quick and always delicious. And if you don’t see what you want on the carts, all you have to do is ask and the staff does their best to accommodate. A favourite regular spot in Calgary!“

“This is an old-school Cantonese Noodle House restaurant. There isn't anything flashy about this restaurant. The wok-hey was awesome, especially for their noodle and fried rice dishes. “It was my mother’s birthday and she turned 91, I called a restaurant and they would not deliver. So I found John Wong’s and they were so pleasant on the phone, they said they delivered and the food came right on time. The food was great. It tasted good, it was hot. And my mom and I enjoyed it immensely! Thank you! We will be sure to ordered again! Highly recommended!“

“This is our go to Chinese food delivery place. My husband has been looking for a good place that also makes chicken wings and this is the spot. Great wings, love the sweet and sour chicken with pineapple. They have great ginger beef and fried rice as well. Easy website to order from and prompt delivery with a nice guy.“

“This is the ideal spot if you want to indulge in delicious protein for a very reasonable price. The amount of food provides very good value for your buck. The service here is quite good as well, as soon as the server saw the sheer amount skewers we ordered, they rigged up another warming tray for the both of us. “We flew in from out of province, and on our way to our destination we wanted to get food because we were hungry. Two of us got combos- fried rice, sweet n sour pork, deep fried shrimp; fried rice with beef n broccoli, chicken balls. We also got hot and sour soup, spring rolls and Singapore noodles with pork. It was raining, so we waited in the car. The owner- brought out the food to us! This was very nice as we did not expect her to do so. We ate our food when we reached our destination. Everything was DELICIOUS! Everything was fresh and tasty.“

“The food here is very authentic ，definitely a great spot for anyone who loves Sichuan cuisine! The owner is also very friendly and gives great recommendations. 😄
The only thing I wasn’t too used to was that the staff spoke very directly, but I think that’s just their straightforward personality 😂“

“This is a nice little hidden spot for Shaanxi dishes! There is parking in the back,but you might need to park nearby and walk over. I got the cumin lamb noodles and Roujiamo/Chinese hamburger 😋💕 The noodles were soft and chewy(for next time tho I might ask for more more spice) I definitely wanna come back and try the other dishes like the different dumpling soups 👀👀👀“
