“Decided to try this place for my birthday. My carnivore friends thought it was just as good as I did. Absolutely delicious food. Generous servings. Delightful service. Nice clean airy atmosphere. The ginger beef was awesome. The Indonesian noodles equally so and the coconut rice melts in the mouth. I'd recommend this to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.Vegetarian options: 100% vegan awesomeness“
“I love the variety of different asian dishes served at Nans as well as their frozen section that displays other vegan options from local businesses like Canela. I would highly recommend trying their vietnamese subs, brussel sprouts, and their drumsticks!“
“First time visiting and I can’t say enough good things! Cute vibe to this small space. Warm and welcoming staff and the most delicious food! Happy to have found such a great vegan spot! Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan!Dietary restrictions: Vegan ?“
“Best vegan/vegetarian vermicelli I've ever had! Loved this place since being recommended there 2020 by a friend saying it was a great meal to take and eat in the park. This pic is what she sent me and I was sold because she's a certified foodie!I've not lived in Calgary since 2021 but it will be my first and last stop the next time in there. I recommend it to anyone going to Calgary and one time had someone drive it to me in Edmonton and it was still good!I usually ordered it to go but the one time I dined in it was a delight ??11/10 recommend! If you order delivery call them directly instead of the apps, very good serviceVegetarian options: Get their tofu vermicelli, comes with 2-3 different types of tofu, spring rolls and veg. See my picture ?“

“Vegan Street is a must-visit! Who knew veggie food could be this delicious and flavorful? Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and looked stunning, and the portions were incredibly generous. By the time we finished our appetizers, I was already feeling happily stuffed! We tried Brussels sprouts, ginger beef, kalamari, nacho fries, and pico de gallo - all delicious , but the Brussels spouts was my absolute favorite!? For mains, we had a sushi bowl and the incredible truffle mushroom burger - simply amazing. The ambiance was as charming as can be - the place felt peaceful and cozy.?And those little swings at some tables where too cute and exciting! The whole vibe, with its sweet design and lovely colors, just made the experience even better. Can't wait to come back for more veggie delights! ?? Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Every dish is vegetarian and seriously delicious.“
“We (my husband, my two dogs, and I) are traveling through Canada in a Volkswagen T4 and are always on the lookout for great treats. We weren't disappointed here! The coffee tasted great, and my cinnamon roll was excellent. My husband had the Vegan Sausage Baguette, which was also very, very tasty! The service was super friendly and once again honored Canadian kindness! “I came into to Pachamama’s Soul Cafe wanting to try chitlins. As it turned out, it was one of those “nosering” joints. You know, where they look at you and you look at them, and you both figure it won’t be long for the door. Anyway, it looked nice. I tried out the swing chair. I looked at the menu. Usually, in these kinda joints the token meat item on the board was barely enough to feed a kitten. I don’t think it's fair. Most normal aka good restaurants serve a token meal for you. It looks rather flavorless if you ask me, but hey vegetarians are just omnivores who make bad choices. Most carnivores will eat a burger. Buy a George Foreman grill. You be you. I’ll be me. Leave the politics out of it. I looked at the modest menu. The smaller the menu, the better the food. There was a sign warning you that the food might take a minute. Another excellent sign of tasty food to come. You can have it good, have it fast, or you can have quality. Pick two. The place was busy’ish at 2:00 PM. Another excellent sign. Now I wanted to screw around with the staff for a while. I said “I don’t see any chitlins, is there another menu?” Eyes rolled. My wife chose the apple cheese sandwich, I had already chose the BLT Panini. But I wasn’t done screwing with the staff yet. They suggested I try the taco salad. I stared at the menu a bit. The staff looked at me and said “I think you’d like the taco salad. It’s not very spicy”. I told them that “that’s a shame because I like mine spicy”. At this point they start insisting that they can make it spicy. LIttle do they know if they said “Try the taco salad, it’s nice and spicy”. I would have just said “Oh no, I don’t care for spicy food”. Anyway, I looked at the menu. I tested the limits of her patience. She eventually asked the new fella to take over. I could tell he was new as his nose was pristine as mine. I kept screwing around until they had all caught on. I told them that “I didn’t think that they sold soul food and I better taste the soul or I’m gonna accuse them of the old bait and switch”. So me and my wife waited on their patio and enjoyed the complimentary dog. It did take a minute. But the time flew by as I watched my wife make a new friend. We swapped halves and there was soul in every bite. They gave us a couple samples. One was a beetroot humuus, bursting with both flavour and soul. There was an oatmeal square that had the sweetness dialed in perfectly. It made you want to eat more sweet without sweeting you out, if you catch my drift. They also brought a sample of a cauliflower soup with the word “emo” in the name. Jesus Christ, where do they get these people. Anyway I was fully feeling the love and looking forward to the soup. I look at my wife awestruck. She goes “yeah, I know, wow”. I went back into the restaurant and they asked me “Do we sell soul food?”. I told them “in every bite”. I told them they gave me “an itty bitty bowl with great big soul”. Was I hungry? No. My wife, no, she gave half her sandwich to the dog. I’m not sure about the dog. Probably. Was it a soul restaurant?. I say hell yeah, they sell soul by the bowl. Great place! Will I be back? Of course, I want a big bowl now.“
“I come here a couple times a week to grab my frozen vegan meals that I just throw on a frying pan and then serve with rice! Can’t go wrong. They are quick and easy to prepare at home. The owners and their staff are extremely friendly, and I look forward to seeing them every visit!“
“Absolutely delicious wrap!!! As a vegan I always struggle to find good food. This place well exceeded my expectations and the service was impeccable! Will be returning when I come back to Calgary! (Got the ginger chick’un wrap and subbed beets for cucumber)“
“Really wish this place had better hours. The food is great, but can only ever go on weekends when I have the time. If you get there at 4:30 they strongly discourage you from ordering takeout even though they don’t close until 5 — so, no point in even saying you’re open until 5. Just not practical hours for people who live nearby and want to enjoy something after work. Hope they consider extending their hours.“
“The vegetarian / vegan buffet is delicious! The food is always fresh and hot, and they rotate the dishes very frequently. We were able to try the vegetarian spring rolls, taro, bean curd rolls, sweet and sour soy balls, lotus root, and various other dishes. Every single dish was well seasoned and so good! They have a good selection of teas, fruit juices, and other drinks. A cold salad bar and take home options are also offered. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend trying Ambrosia Veggie House! It's located in the monastery across from the river. Beautiful scenery and a great atmosphere.“
“Anything I’ve tried here, tastes delicious! There’s layers of flavour and you can tell Chef Andrea Harling was the one behind all these flavour bombs. The burgers are so good I’ve surprised a lot of meat eaters when I’ve told them they’re eating a vegan burger!? ? Their frozen desserts are incredible too and are not to missed!!! Order takeout and support this local #tastybusiness!“
“Their cinnamon buns are sooo good! The bread was so chewy and fresh. They were so good that I couldn't even tell they were vegan. A bit downside of it was just the sweetness level. The frosting was a bit too sweet for me; however they were still very good nonetheless. And I also appreciate them for opening until midnight! Definitely helps with my midnight cravings!! :p“
“Came here with my non-vegan parents for Easter brunch. The service was friendly and fast. Everything we delicious. Good portions. Parents really liked their tofu scramble, air baked potatoes, bagel sandwich and coffees. I loved my eggs Benedict and chai latte. So nice to come to a place that I know is 100% vegan and I can safely order anything on the menu. Any wait to be back soon to try more menu items.“
“Finally a spot where I dont have to think twice about what I eat cause of my dairy allergy. Decent menu options. Wasnt a fan of the chikun poutine though. The buffalo chicken burger was very nice. Wouldve been great to add some vegan blue cheese to it.Vegetarian options: Whole spot is Vegan“
“Thank you Rusi, great customer service!! You took orders, you put the food together, and served us like a fine dining restaurant!!! Kudos to you my Man!! The owners should be proud. Great food, great selection, wish the portions were bigger. As a foodie with a pallet of all foods, with love of the Veg, I highly recommend this restaurant for nourishment. Vegan or not.. Thanks again Rusi! We will be coming back because of you!!!Best regards!??,?..Vegetarian options: Please make sure you have stocked up on the shitake and portobellos for the next time...?Kid-friendliness: Bright, and open, great layout.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes big door, ground level, good food..Dietary restrictions: Very good for Vegans or people who like all types of food, and dietary restrictions.“
“Have came here a few times. Definitely a gourmet cinnamon bun. We have also ordered the cinnamon bun cake for a birthday. It was pricey but it was honestly delicious. Just cut it into smaller chunks and it was the perfect sweet treat.Atmosphere is a bit lacking. The stools are very flimsy. A coffee date here would be more desirable if atmosphere was worked on a bit. Will be back! ? Old skool bun is the way to go.“
“This place is amazing. The food is top tier, no joke. You will not miss the meat if you’re a meat eater like me. Honestly my go-to for sushi and salad dressings. A gem more people need to know about! Very accommodating for food sensitivities and lifestyles. I wish I could give 10/5 stars. (I don’t have a pic to share bc I gobbled down my meal too fast)“
