“My husband and I have been going to Milk since before they opened their official location, so you could say we're pretty big fans. The flavours combinations never fail to disappoint (the taro salted duck egg flavour from October was legit, and any tea ice creams are always a favourite). As another reviewer said, the ice cream is not overly sweet.
Other ice cream places generally have a pretty big difference (in flavour and texture, if not in quality altogether) between their sorbets/plant-based ice creams compared to the dairy ones. Here? Not the case. I'm not lactose intolerant, and yet I get the plant-based ice creams without thinking about it. In my experience, they've never been icy or less than their dairy counterparts - ditto for the sorbets I've had.

Even if you didn't grow up with Asian flavours, you will be nothing less than thoroughly spoiled by how daring and consistently well-executed their menu is.“

(Asked village ice cream employee if the Skor flavour had lots of Skor and was told, ‘I’d say so’. Ends up the Skor is blended to a dust and then mixed with ice cream. It doesn’t taste like Skor. I guess it was my fault for expecting chunks of Skor bar, but it wasn’t worth eating. I left it uneaten - what an expensive waste.
Customer service tip: If a customer asks about the taste and of the ice cream, give them a sample and let the customer decide for themselves whether they like it or not).“

“Amazingly friendly service and delicious ice cream! They seem to have limitless flavors! There are many ice cream options from traditional (i.e. vanilla), novel (i.e. honey fig), and uncommon (i.e. ube queso). There is also a wide selection of fresh (i.e. pineapple), candy (i.e. chocolate rocks), and baked (i.e. cheesecake) mix-ins, which are unlimited. Each visit is an adventure! My family and I enjoy going to Abbey's Creations and happily consuming their ice cream. Abbey's Creations is a jewel of North West Calgary! 😊

Update October 29, 2025: Our family continues to be fans of Abbeys! From my first post we have since enjoyed Abbeys delicious ice cream cakes, including ones that have been graciously accommodated as customized special orders (Dubai chocolate, Ube with brownies, and mango are some of our favorites). Most recently I also tried the newest product: stuffed cookies. I am still working through all of the flavors, but the ube and salted caramel are my top flavors so far! Abbeys pleasantly keeps finding ways for me to break my calorie limits! 😁“

“First time visiting here because I am vacationing in Canada. I love the vibe of the place. I think that the pricing is decent as well. I got the sundae with barn floor and halo halo. The barn floor was really good, but the halo halo was not. Being Filipino, I can say that the halo halo is not how halo halo tastes like.

Other than that, everything else was good. My sister-in-law had the cotton candy and chocolate. The chocolate was excellent!“
