So, when we stumbled upon Mighty Restaurant, promising authentic maritime cuisine, we were excited to try it out.Walking in, we were greeted by a cozy atmosphere with maritime themed decor that instantly transported us to the Atlantic coast. We ordered a Donair Burger and a small Donair, both packed with hearty flavours.The Donair Burger, despite looking regular sized, was incredibly filling with juicy, flavourful meat and tasty fries on the side. My wife's "small" Donair turned out to be a pleasant surprise, offering ample portions of delicious meat wrapped in warm bread.But what really made our experience memorable was the friendly owners, who happily shared stories of Eastern Canada, making us feel right at home.In short, Mighty Restaurant not only satisfied our cravings for maritime cuisine but also brought back cherished memories of the region. “Soul Kitchen did an excellent job catering our July wedding. David was very professional, and quick to respond to emails and the day of the wedding they were very helpful and friendly. The food was all hot and ready on time and was absolutely amazing! We had numerous guests comment that it was the best wedding food they ever had! The food variety was excellent! We had brisket, pulled pork, and chicken which were all very flavourful and cooked perfectly! The sides were mac and cheese, warm potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw. My favourite was the potato salad, but they were all amazing! They went above and beyond to accommodate a dietary restriction by finding something for a vegan guest. I would highly recommend them for any catering need you have!“
“I love this little booth! I was on a food tour at the market so I only had room for some empanadas but, I knew I had to try this place because the food they were putting out looked amazing! And what great service. I will come back just for the man behind the counter. I docked a star because my empanadas were just a tad greasy but, nothing a napkin couldn’t fix and the ají was SO delicious. I’m going to try everything on their menu eventually because I’ll be back so many times“
“Absolutely incredible. Owner is nice and makes delicious food you can't get anywhere else in the city. I'm coming back with friends because I can't believe how good it is and they need to see for themselves. Highly recommend the sausage but honestly I'd probably trust everything on the menu to be delicious“
“I ordered catering for 30 people from Janes for the first time despite it just being just a couple blocks down from my work. I have to say, it was a hit all around! There are so many options for many dietary preferences. Even the vegetarians were thrilled! Many people commented on the beans specifically being delicious and having a nice zip to it. The caesar salad was authentic. My only regret was not ordering enough brisket as it was eaten up so quickly I never got to try it. Easy to order, Catering team was great. delivery was on time. All in all, great service.“
