“We celebrated our mom’s 60th birthday at Raja Grill. It was 15 of us including new born, toddler, kids and adults. It’s kids friendly, amazing customer service. Everything was delicious including biryani, kababs, qeema, butter chicken, chanaa curry and kark chai was just cherry on the top. It was better than Toronto’s food. We will come again soon. The only issue is the space it’s a small place so call before coming.

The engironment feels welcoming when coming in and when it was cold outside, the servers really welcomed us especially the server Angelica who made us feel warm after coming from the winter weather. “FINALLY got to eat here tonite. Every time we come there is a line outside the door. Man...let me tell you! As a gal that grew up in KY and proud of her southern heritage...you guys did good. The St. Louis ribs just fell right off the bone, so much flavor in every single bite! Seriously...yummy. “The lunch boxes are very delicious and big and good value for money. I was shocked that there’re so much food that the boxes almost cannot be closed. Every time I ordered chicken, the whole chicken leg was included. They have their style to make the food, not the same as the style I used to have in Hong Kong, but the taste is still good and makes an impression. The staff are very friendly and the environment is clean. I recommend you to try it out.“

“Soul Kitchen did an excellent job catering our July wedding. David was very professional, and quick to respond to emails and the day of the wedding they were very helpful and friendly. The food was all hot and ready on time and was absolutely amazing! We had numerous guests comment that it was the best wedding food they ever had! The food variety was excellent! We had brisket, pulled pork, and chicken which were all very flavourful and cooked perfectly! The sides were mac and cheese, warm potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw. My favourite was the potato salad, but they were all amazing! They went above and beyond to accommodate a dietary restriction by finding something for a vegan guest. I would highly recommend them for any catering need you have!“

“Great hole in the wall bar and grill on 17th Ave SE. The staff were very nice, atmosphere was enjoyable. The music wasn't to loud so you could have a conversation without screaming. The food was great. Got the 5 Apps for $38 plus a large chicken caesar salad and a burger with fries and gravy. The gravy reminded me of the very yummy high school gravy, which I was very pleased to find out. ? ? ? ? ? ? onion rings, potato skins, deep fried pickles, and the steak bites were all so good.
Had ro take a couple of boxes homeof leftovers but so glad we did. The burger was even better then next day for dinner. First burger I've ever had that you could eat the day after. ????
Will definitely go there again very soon, and always remember to bring cash, it's the best currency since we have to have one.

“Probably the best Chinese BBQ house in Calgary. I've tried a lot of places and the BBQ duck here is succulent with a crisp burgundy color skin. Flavour is just the right amount of saltiness and aromatics. I always get the pig ear and organ meats which is good for dipping in the Chilli oil.“

“Loved this place! The service is incredibly attentive and friendly. Our favourites were the thinly sliced brisket and the bulgogi but all of the meat we tried was terrific. The hot stone bowl was delicious with the crisped rice at the bottom. Will definitely be back.“

“We ran into this place by accident and it ended been pretty good. The atmosphere is great and feels homey but relaxed. They get really busy so make sure you can make a reservation beforehand.The service was great and they made sure we had everything we needed.The food is good but I would recommend trying some other dishes without the spice they add to some of them.I understand that's the style of grill but after two or three meats they kind of taste the same with it, so make sure to ask the server not to add it to some items. The best item we tried was their beef short ribs, and surprisingly the green pepper was really good too.Other than that, the place is awesome and totally recommend it.“

“This past weekend we celebrated my husbands 65th birthday at Big Ts in Mahogany! I was a little concerned when I realized how small it was and yet this place did not disappoint! They made room for 26 people without sacrificing service and taste! They served each table quickly and efficiently! The staff were friendly and went out of their way to allow this party to work well! They even decorated the place before we arrived! They not only handled our party but the other take out angle as well! Our whole gang was very impressed with how great the food was as well! “Lots of space early on a Friday night (5:30ish).

We've had 1 good and 1 bad experience at sister restaurant Hayden Block so were hoping we wouldn't be disappointed!

Our waitress was friendly and attentive, answering many questions.

We were up for something a bit different so ordered a few different things to share- Hot Mess (sweet potatoes, jalapeno cream and brisket), bacon wrapped corn, cornbread and chipotle brisket empanadas.

Everything was very tasty, the empanadas were small but packed a lot of flavour, the Hot Mess had a generous portion of brisket, th honey butter upped the cornbread and corn/bacon a fun combo.“

“Ok so this place is inside Tops supermarket, inside Central Landmark Mall. Took me forever to find it. Food is pretty good. The crispy pork is best, amazingly crispy, maybe the meat is a bit dry. Duck is good. Cha siu is ok. Lunch combo is a great deal. All in all a pretty good deal for the amount of food you’re getting. Cash only.“

“Great little spot for Korean BBQ. Not AYCE so don't come in expecting it. The meat quality is a step above AYCE restaurants and the price slightly reflects that.

That being said, price is by no means a showstopper, especially if it's on Wednesday which is 50% regular thick sliced pork belly.
