Came in for late night take out. Excellent service and food
Finally got trying Hayden Block Smoke & Whisky off my bucket list of restaurants to try in Calgary. Being from out of province I had to hear my sister praise this place on how great it is. Well it sure didn’t disappoint. Everything I heard about came true when I ate here with the family. Shared the meal with the family which included: Brisket, Pulled Pork, Turkey Breast and Hot Link. I’ve visited this place a dozen times. The briskets here are great. The corn, the coleslaw, and the baked beans are my favorite sides. The only thing that is a little odd is the half chickens. I’ve ordered this twice and each time half of the chicken was not cooked or chewable. If you’d like something cooked or half cooked I won’t recommend the chicken. Try the whiskey, they have a ton of tastes and they are all good. The barbecue sauce is also my favorite.
