Based on reviews, Yum Yum BBQ Chicken Bowness Rd is a cozy, small mom and pop shop with about 5 or 6 tables, great for dates and friends meetings. The chicken is halal, not your typical greasy fried chicken, and is cooked perfectly. All chicken flavours are amazing, with the chicken being very juicy, tender, flavourful, and the portions are super generous. The food and service are excellent, and the sauces are amazing. It is one of the best Korean fried chicken in Calgary and one of the best Korean spots in the city. The quality is great at reasonable prices, and very decent on the wallet. They make to order, requiring at least 15 minutes, but it is totally worth it when the fried chicken comes out fresh and piping hot.
