“This was our first time here and it certainly won’t be our last! My Chicken & Meat is a total hidden gem. The menu has a fantastic variety to choose from. I had the BBQ chicken drumstick lunch special, and my wife went with the fried fish, shrimp, and dumpling combo—both were excellent.

The food came out very quickly, and you can tell everything is prepared to order because it was incredibly fresh and piping hot. The portions are very generous for the price. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, with a very authentic and genuine Korean BBQ feel. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Hankook is the best Korean fried chicken I have had, it is a great place to bring many people as the portion sizes are quite large. Further, the prices are quite cheap for the amount and quality you get.
The lady who runs it is very kind and gives great service, while not a deciding factor in the quality of a resturant it only makes going so much better.
The chicken itself is perfectly cooked, especially the boneless. There are no bad flavors though the soy sauce and chili garlic are the best to get. Definitely a great place to bring family and friends when having a larger dinner get together.“

The sandwich was delicious and so were the fries with the special dipping sauce. Did not try the deep fried desserts. Can’t wait to go back!!! You gotta try it!!!!“

“I recently visited Popeyes in Forest Lawn and had a great experience overall. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, just the way it should be. The seasoning was spot on and tasted authentic.
I also tried the fries and biscuits — both were delicious. The fries were well-seasoned and crispy, and the biscuit was buttery and soft. The portion sizes were satisfying for the price.
The staff were friendly and my order came out quickly, even though it was a bit busy. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained.

I ordered 4 pieces of chicken (2 drumsticks, 2 thighs) and the flavour throughout was perfect, and the texture was excellent. I'm sure it's even better in person without the delivery time delay. “Visited the Macleod location with my family today. We originally went for the chicken and spaghetti, and both were super fresh and delicious. The staff were also really friendly.
Since it’s an open kitchen, we could see both the kitchen staff preparing the food and the front staff taking orders while we were waiting.

What really stood out to me was how everyone was smiling, talking to each other positively, and working so quickly together. Even the woman who seemed to be the manager was chatting and laughing with the staff, and the whole atmosphere just felt really positive and welcoming.

“Edit Nov 17/23 - I havent been here for a bit, usually go to the north Wow Chicken so I didnt know they changed their name and some of the menu. The lady was so nice! I asked about the name change, the new food items,she let us try some things. I always get the Gang Jeong space but she also gave me the Mala Buldak sauce to try - hhhoootttttttttt! Wow, only a little and I was sweating! As she gave it to me,she said she liked that sauce....good on you lol, that's a very hot sauce! We had the mozzarella K-dog with sugar to try, that was good too! We then had our usual lunch special. Little different with having a packet of bulgogi powder but it worked, and the chicken thighs were 3 large rather then some smaller ones. All good, nothing bad to say! This always was my favorite Wow Chicken location so I'm glad they stuck around and now serve even a little more under their new name!I cannot say enough about this place except that it is named very accordingly!! Between the sauce (spicy BBQ), the breading, the chicken.... It's amazing!!! Ordered the bulgogi fries....man! Crispy and full of flavor! My only regret was that I didn't try this sooner!!“

So walk across the street we did and ordered up some Korean fried chicken. I took the K Town signature, which is their take on regular fried chicken. It's what KFC should taste like. It's the crunch KFC should have. it tastes way better to. Truth be told, it's the best goddamn fried chicken I've ever had and I would have stayed in town a few days more, just to plow through their menu. It's that good.“

“Stopped in to Popeye’s Beacon Hill for Lunch. We ordered 2 classic chicken sandwiches and drinks.
These sandwiches are so good !! And we were not disappointed!!
To be honest, they are almost 2 big for us. We could have easily split a sandwich.
I also like the spicy chicken sandwich and order that one a fair bit but went with the classic sandwich this time.
The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is always clean and well maintained.
I would recommend this Popeyes for great chicken.

As a guy who has tried multiple locations, they aren't all consistent with each other, but this one puts out the best Bourbon pork and Jambalaya rice. Line moves fast here which is commendable given how many people grab lunch from here on a typical day.“
