“Not too bad. Ambience is not perfect but they have improved by putting up art.

Flavour options are wilder than last time which makes it interesting but an americano with something like grapefruit tea sounds highly unappealing.

The blue cloud drink is cotton candy, and it is a good flavour.

Would be open to trying their gelato.

I had more ice chunks in my drink than I would’ve liked, and the brown sugar pearls weren’t very concentrated, but they were still good.

Their bathroom is kind of odd. The water splashes out of the sink when you’re washing your hands. The hand dryer sprays your water back at you especially if you’re short. There was a bucket of water with a cloth in it in a bin. Not sure what that’s about. There’s also a “pest deterrent” thing on the wall which worries me in terms of if there have been mice. But it’s not a bad bathroom, it’s clean and everything functions fine :)“

“this is my favorite bubble tea! I usually get the fresh strawberry slush, which tastes SO GOOD! I recommend this store to everyone! The only thing that could be better is the cup size! As a big foodie, I tend to like the most in something. So maybe the staff could add sizes to the drinks 😀 in conclusion it's a really good bubble tea place !“

“Really enjoyed our visit to Kung Fu Tea Acadia! Got the 38 Milk King with honey and it was really good — creamy, refreshing and not too sweet. The waffle with ice cream and boba was even better! Fresh, warm and crispy, and the ice cream went so well with it. Definitely coming back for the waffle again! 😋“

“I visited Kung Fu Tea today and ordered two drinks. The mango slush with cheese foam was not what I expected, but the girl at the counter was very kind and happy to replace it for me. She remade the drink, and I was satisfied with my order afterward. I really appreciated the friendly customer service. My only suggestion would be to keep the drinks more consistent so customers know what to expect.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Korean street food, A Boonsik Downtown is definitely a place worth visiting. It was highly recommended to us by a close Korean friend, who said the flavors are incredibly authentic and very similar to what you would find back home in Korea. After trying it ourselves, we completely understand why.

The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and consistently well made. One of our absolute favorites is the Tteokbokki—it’s the closest we’ve found to the authentic Korean version, with the perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and chewy goodness. Whenever we’re craving legitimate Korean street food, this is always our go-to spot. Beyond the Tteokbokki, every item we’ve tried has been flavorful and satisfying. Honestly, everything on the menu is worth trying.

Another great thing about A Boonsik is that the prices are very reasonable, making it easy to enjoy authentic Korean comfort food without spending a fortune. The portions are satisfying, and the quality of the food makes it an excellent value.

The service is equally impressive. The staff are always friendly, polite, and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. They are happy to answer questions and provide recommendations, which adds to the overall positive dining experience.

The restaurant also offers plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors, making it a comfortable place to dine whether you’re eating alone, with friends, or with family.

The only minor drawback is parking. Since it’s located in a busy commercial area downtown, finding a parking spot can sometimes be a bit challenging. However, once you’ve found parking, the food and overall experience make the extra effort worthwhile.

“We tried the Brown sugar pearl latte and Aiyu jelly lemon green tea (half sugar). They were both awesome!! You can really taste the brown sugar flavour and the pearls were incredibly soft. Freshly boiled pearls were still warm in the cup. If you’re lactose intolerant, YiFang uses Natrel brand filtered milk which is lactose free! Aiyu jelly was deliciously smooth and if you like lemon, you will love this lemon green tea! Half sugar was the right amount of sweetness but still tart and tangy. We will be returning for sure.“

“The staff are really patient and friendly. I have ordered a lot of different kinds of tea and they're all good. I like how the straws are compostable but as strong as plastic straws. They even read the ingredients in pearls and let me read them to check if there is gelatin, which most don't have. I'm a vegetarian. I am pretty sure I saw something about how they also have dairy free replacements/options for those who don't eat diary.“

“Dropped by Cha House yesterday and had a really nice experience. The shop was quiet and cozy, and the staff were surprisingly attentive in a very genuine way. There's a big pink statue by the entrance that I want to take picture with my friends. One of the employees kindly reminded my friend not to pull on it, explaining that the piece could fall and actually hurt someone. I appreciated that they were looking out for customer safety without making a big deal out of it. Drinks were great(ordered roasted rice milk tea as usual), and the space felt clean and welcoming.

“Love eating at this place in Chinatown whenever I’m in Calgary. The little trains deliver your food nice and fresh. Good food and unlike sushi conveyor belt where you wait and wait as the dishes go around until you get what you like; here everything is made to order and sent to your table by train. “Got the half&half k-dogs with sugar and ketchup, SO. GOOD. First time trying these type of corndog and the standard is set super high lol. Sugar topping takes it to the next level (might have to ask for a little extra next time). It did take 10+ minutes but totally worth it since they were as fresh as can be. Grabbed a mango drink from the JusFruit section of the shared counter and that was amazing as well.

I grabbed some other dishes for takeout because I haven’t gotten around to trying much Korean food before. Fried sweet potato is very good, but didn’t love any of the kimbap varieties except the fried shrimp — that’s the only one with sauce and I feel like it’s a bit dry otherwise, tuna didn’t have much flavour. Takoyaki is way better than the premade ones at T&T (actually cooked through and not doughy), twigim looks good but overpriced so that’s the one thing I didn’t try that caught my eye.

The owner was super accomodating, and I got my tea for 5.24$ including lychee jelly. The flavors are very pronounced and they don't add sugar but it tastes sweet still. “I ordereda cup of peach oolong tea from Incha today, and it was absolutely fantastic. The oolong tea has a delicate floral scent, matched with fresh peach flavour that isn’t sickly sweet at all. What impressed me most was the amazing customer service. The staff were polite, patient with my custom sugar level requests and made my drink really fast. It’s such a refreshing drink, and I will definitely come back again soon.“

“I really love this place and the food is always great. I have had it before when the takeout containers were smaller but the sauce used to be more generous giving the chicken full flavour. This time the full size Honey Garlic chicken was a massive portion, easily 14 to 15 pieces in total, and the crunch was absolutely spot on. My only little critique is that the glaze would have been much better if the chicken was actually tossed in it because this time it just looked like it was poured on top. Also, I would probably skip upgrading to the Large Fry for 6.99. As you can see in the photo, it is a nice large box but it was barely filled so it felt like a bit of a skimp for the price. The chicken itself is always amazing, just hoping for a bit more sauce and a fuller fry box next time!“
