“I love this place! I've been going there for years specifically for their pork spring rolls and the best wor wonton in the city! The family there is so great! They always go above and beyond, which is evidenced by the line ups at lunchtime. Highly recommend them! 5 stars from me!“

“Great little Vietnamese restaurant with awesome service. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was also very good. We tried their Banh Mi, vermicelli bowl, pho, beef stew and Vietnamese coffee. Everything was very good, 2 thumbs up. It’s a small place with limited seating. Located in a strip shopping centre you should be able to find free parking either out front or in the adjacent lot.“

“Pho Daddy offers a fun and customizable pho experience. You get to choose your broth, protein, and toppings, so it's easy to build a bowl exactly how you like it. The prices are very reasonable for the portion size, making it a great value. I got coconut broth and wife pick traditional broth.

My wife found the noodles in her bowl a little overcooked for her preference, but I ordered extra noodles on the side and they were cooked perfectly. We also tried the egg rolls, Vietnamese spring rolls, and iced coffee. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the iced coffee was only $5, which was a nice bonus.

Overall, a great spot for affordable and customizable pho with plenty of options to suit different tastes. We'll definitely be back.

“This this is a fabulous hidden gem on Center Street North. The owner is an absolute delight in her manner and her customer service
And the food is simply outstanding. I highly recommend paying a visit and trying anything on the menu and you will be absolutely delighted. I had a traditional assorted meat sub which was excellent and I also tried the stewed beef with rice outstanding as well.
After my fourth visit to this place I tried probably the best curry chicken stew I've ever tasted. I had it with a fresh warmed up baguette. The chicken thigh and arrowroot that she uses in this stew burst with flavor because of the seasoning she uses to make the dish which includes lemongrass.... You must try this offering well worth it.“

The Satay Beef Noodle Soup with Peanuts is a must-try, with its flavorful broth and tender beef, perfectly complemented by the fragrant peanut taste. The restaurant not only offers great food but also a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, along with a friendly and enthusiastic staff. I also loved the Vietnamese sandwiches and the DIY wraps, which really gave me the feeling of enjoying authentic home-cooked meals. “The night we ate here the restaurant was super busy but the lone server was running and getting it done. We didn't have to wait long for our food and the pho came with bean sprouts, lime and Thai basil. I thought the pho was OK a little low on flavour and not hot. The spring rolls were very good and came with a dressed up dipping sauce not just plain fish sauce. Overall it was an ok dinner.“

“I don't usually want to write reviews, but the food was prompt, very delicious and the temperature of the pho was very much just right (hot while not burning you). It was pretty busy when I came to eat, so I wasn't immediately served. However, the wait wasn't long and the food got here in a timely manner. They also served complimentary tea, which most pho places should but don't practice. And the price point for the pho was very good for the size you are getting. I will be coming here again when I have the chance.“

“This place is one of the reasons I enjoy coming to dragon plaza mall. Always when I’m hungry. Enough seats to be able to sit down to eat there, polite customer service. This is the place I recommend when craving a Vietnamese sub, I generally only order the spicy beef, but I imagine everything else here is made with the same quality. The bread itself is perfect, good crunch while maintaining a level of fresh softness to it as well. Parking during peak hours can be a little tough but otherwise, well priced.“

“If you're looking for straight-up, solid Vietnamese food in the +15 without having to step outside or commit to a full sit-down restaurant, this is the spot.

They opened their new location in Fall 2025, and it’s noticeably bigger and more spacious, with plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your meal. You can tell it’s a local favourite, by 11:30 to noon, the place is already buzzing and filling up fast.

So what’s good? I’ve tried their bánh mì, and I’m very picky about what makes a true authentic Vietnamese bánh mì. They absolutely nailed it. The bun has that perfect light, crisp exterior with a soft inside. The meats are flavorful and balanced, and the spread (that classic Vietnamese butter/mayo situation) is on point. The pickled veggies and fresh herbs bring everything together exactly the way it should.

They also have a self-serve station loaded with chilies — pickled jalapeños, chili paste, and more. Huge bonus. If you like heat and customizing your sandwich the proper way, this is it.

What’s also great? The price. I don’t mind paying more for quality Vietnamese food, but here the pricing is honestly worth it's weight. And judging by the steady stream of people lining up daily, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so.

Service can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, but the wait is worth it. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and keep things moving as best as they can.“

“We visited the market on the recommendation of the Concierge at our hotel and it was amazing! The variety of vendors and quality of the food & drink was impressive. I had an Indian meal while my wife had Mexican. We ordered some nice wine and ate on the open air patio. We were surprised by the number of young families and pets, but it really made the atmosphere more enjoyable. We very much encourage a visit to this market if you find yourself in Calgary!“

“I’ve been coming to this Vietnamese restaurant for over 20 years, and it’s still one of my absolute favorites. The satè phở is amazing - always piping hot, incredibly flavorful, and consistently satisfying every single time.

I also love that they open at 9am - it’s such a treat to be able to enjoy a comforting bowl of phở for breakfast! And their cà phê sữa đá is a must - rich, bold, and the perfect pairing with any meal.

From the very first meeting with Harman and Alexa, they came across as experienced, thoughtful and transparent. The quote was reasonable and detailed. Communication from the project manager, Ari, was excellent. Victor was at our house all day everyday. He was so respectful and thorough and really treated our home as though it was his own. All of the trades were amazing, professional, and so kind to our family. When Harman and Alexa told us they could complete our kitchen in 3.5 weeks, including the removal of a wall, ceiling, rerouting plumbing, ductwork and electrical, we thought they were nuts. They completed the job on time and on budget. My wife and I are type A’s, accountants, really obsessed with details and these folks were up to our high standards. Alexa allowed us to own the design and pick all of the finishes which was important to us, while steering us in the right direction. The cabinets are very good quality and the installer was a serious perfectionist. Asking for our input throughout install day to make sure we were completely satisfied.

We now have our dream kitchen, better than every expectation that we had.

“Definitely one of the best vietnamese restaurants I've ever eaten at! I came here for lunch and the place was packed by 12:30, Yet my food came so fast I could hardly believe it. The prices are very affordable. I orded the Lobster seafood satay noodle soup, and some salad rolls. The soup was so flavorful and had 1 full large lobster tail and a small 1/2 tail. This soup was only $20. A normal seafood noodle soup was around $13, so I litterally only paid 7$ for lobster! The salad rolls were big snd fresh, and the peanut sauce was creamy & warm! I will definitely be coming back to try some other dishes.Still the best in Calgary.“

“Just wow. This is by far the closest restaurant to the home-cooked Vietnamese meals I grew up eating at my parents’ table. The signature pho is a solid 10/10, no notes. Every dish we tried was full of flavour, fresh, and clearly made with care. The portions are generous too, so you definitely leave satisfied. Bread was super crusty so made a disaster of my truck, but worth it. The savory butter sauce was the thing that put it over the top. The beef had great flavor and didn’t have that artificially rubber tenderized beef that most places use. Bought a few other items here and wasn’t disappointed.
