We oppening was delayed because of a power outage but we had no rush. The food was amazing. Personnaly as Koreans that visited Calgary as a trip, it was the best k-food I ate in Canada by far. The visuals were awesome and the taste was even better. They even gave us free dumplings which whould be like $10 here. Enjoyed the expirience a lot.“

“A true hidden gem! I discovered Kin Dee while in Calgary for a month-long deployment for the G7, and it quickly became one of my favorite lunch spots. The Lao-Thai dishes are fresh, flavorful, and affordable. As someone with Lao roots, I really appreciated the authentic Lao options on the menu—hard to find and beautifully done. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. Sad to leave, but I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!“

“Very delicious and flavourful food at a reasonable price. Tried the spicy peanut noodle and it was great! The sauce was really yummy, and the actual noodles themselves were very tasty. I'm not a fancy guy, I don't know if the noodles are fresh made or what, but they're delicious. The service was also fantastic. Pretty sure it was the manager, but the guy helping us was very informative without being pushy. If you're willing to download apps, they even have some better deals and extra perks for free membership.“

From the very beginning, our consultants, Sydney and Harman, were incredible. They took the time to guide us through every step of the process, helping us choose the perfect colors, materials, and design. Their knowledge, patience, and attention to detail made what could have been an overwhelming process enjoyable and exciting.

Throughout the renovation, Ari, our Product Manager, kept us informed every step of the way. He communicated the timeline clearly, let us know what to expect next, and was always available to answer our questions. “Tucked deep in the heart of downtown after a few twists and turns through the +15 corridor you’ll find a true hidden gem serving an absolutely killer curry beef brisket noodle soup. I think I may have just found my go-to spot for that deep, rich curry fix.

The broth? Unreal. Thick, bold, and packed with flavor — it instantly reminded me of classic Hong Kong–style beef curry, the kind you’d normally pair with rice, but transformed into this beautifully balanced, soul-warming noodle soup. Every spoonful hits with that slow-cooked richness. Hands down, the best thing I’ve eaten in 2026 so far.

The space itself isn’t overly busy, with plenty of seating to settle in and enjoy your bowl. Service is warm and welcoming the aunties at the front are incredibly kind and make the whole experience feel homey.

And then there’s the condiment station… a dream setup. Four different types of chili to match whatever mood you’re in: fresh pickled jalapeños, chili oil, sriracha, and chili paste. Absolute heaven for spice lovers.“

“This is an old-school Cantonese Noodle House restaurant. There isn't anything flashy about this restaurant. The wok-hey was awesome, especially for their noodle and fried rice dishes. The staff were very hardworking and courteous. Prices and portions were excellent. The restaurant was drab and could be cleaner.“

“Incredible food, I've never had a bad meal here. The food here is very authentic and not bland like other Vietnamese restaurants in the south of Calgary. The prices are very decent for what you are getting, and its always been nice and easy to come in for a meal. The spring rolls are fried fresh and are super delicious, and the vegetables and meat we get are always fresh as well. Very well portioned food and the pho sate is very tasty, they use real peanuts and sate. (Peanut butter/paste seems to be a common shortcut for Vietnamese restaurants when they make Pho Sate)
The owners are lovely wonderful people, they have always been kind to us when we come in and have even put in the effort to remember our orders by heart. We don't even have to order anything, we just have our food brought to us. They give us service unlike most restaurants and I think this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the South of Calgary.
The restaurant is a little run down, but that doesn't stop me from coming in for a delicious bowl of pho.
If you live in the area is definitely worth coming in for take out or dine in.“

Excellent service and very good cooking.
A lot of choices, however I would of liked more vegetables in the portion.
Starch+ vegies= same size as meat. For healthier choice meat 1/ 4 and veggies 1/ 2, straches 1/4...

“We found this gem of a place while getting lost in Calgary! We were looking for a place to eat but yelp led us to a closed down building. We saw a Subway across the street and was about to settle on that for dinner when my friend saw the Filipino flag next door. That’s when we knew, we found good food. We went in and was greeted with a smile, ordered our food and saw the table in front was having a boodle fight! Perfect for our Friday reunion dinner! Another plus was they had open mic! Now that’s a clincher when all our friends are choir members during our college days! it was fun and what a great cool and chill night! Karaoke pa more!“

It’s a pretty small restaurant with maybe 10 tables…but was full during lunch today.

We ordered their preserved egg congee with chili sauce, beef brisket, plain rice roll with side of soy sauce, peanut sauce and hoisin, and the steam pork and with pumpkin.
