“A true hidden gem! I discovered Kin Dee while in Calgary for a month-long deployment for the G7, and it quickly became one of my favorite lunch spots. The Lao-Thai dishes are fresh, flavorful, and affordable. As someone with Lao roots, I really appreciated the authentic Lao options on the menu—hard to find and beautifully done. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. Sad to leave, but I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I always order at this location. The food is pretty good every time but tonight was exceptional. My husband and I came with our baby to get takeout and ate at home. We both noticed how the food tasted more amazing today and service was excellent. It was Jobi at the till and Mark cooking. Jobi and Mark were both so kind and friendly. “I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp spring rolls were much larger and tastier than I expected, and the mango salad was just as delicious. The highlight was the spicy tofu Pad Thai—it was so good I practically licked the plate clean! I dined in, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my visit. “This place truly deserves a five star. On the outside when I was walking in I thought I was gonna get Organ trafficked because there was like padding on the wall and it was like a hole in the wall. It looks really sketchy but once we got in and we ordered the food was really good and flavorful. It was so good. My mom wants to come back and she never wants to come back to a restaurant more than once. The price is a little bit expensive because it’s almost like $25 a plate, but it is really good.“

“Great food! We always order this with our coworkers from work and it’s an every other day thing now for us! Ginger chicken, ginger beef, BBQ chicken, mango salad, wonton soup, super good. Food and service is always nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend!“

“I just tried their devil’s chicken and it was a different level of spice - Nothing I have ever encountered before and I grew up drinking Tabasco bottles straight from the bottle at the age of five.

If you want a spice challenge, try this dish I was literally seeing circles by the last six bites. It is by far the spiciest curry I’ve ever had at a commercial restaurant and as an original recipe that they provide.

It’s not just spice, but it’s a very flavourful too

I can’t really imagine many people enduring it and trying it and living Through it to talk about it to others lol !!!!!!!!

“Ordered this with Uber eats, got the pad Thai, the tamarind chicken, and the crying cowboy ribs.
The takeout boxes are so pretty, they make you excited to eat! 5 stars for the box choice!! The food itself was delicious. We worried the portions were going to be too small, but they were really filling. Our only critic was the portion size for the crying cowboy ribs. It was small. There were only 4 small pieces in the container. Maybe we just wanted more because they were so tasty.“
