“This is honestly the best Subway location I’ve ever been to in Calgary. The store is always spotless, and the food is consistently fresh the bread is fluffy, the veggies are crisp, and everything tastes amazing every single time. They’re also very generous with their portions, which makes a huge difference in the quality of the sandwiches.

They always wrap everything with care so nothing falls apart, and their hygiene and presentation are excellent. They have mixed up a few of my online orders before, but despite that, this location still deserves a full 5 stars. The quality, freshness, and service here are unmatched.“

The quality of the ingredients is great and the sandwiches look good but as others have pointed out, there's just something lacking on the flavour. Either they need more sauce or more salt or something but each time I eat a sandwich from here it feels like it is just missing something.
They aren't bad but they aren't as great as they could be.

“Saigon Deli (Banh Mi Saigon) is a great spot for Vietnamese subs. The bánh mì here is really good—fresh bread, flavorful fillings, and a nice balance of textures.

What stood out the most is that my kids have tried bánh mì from many places across Canada, from Vancouver to Toronto, and this is the one they like the most. That says a lot.“

“I can never say enough good things about Lily's Vietnamese Subs. Used to live a block away and this was a Friday night ritual to get dinner here and I've been a customer for at least 20 years. Lily and her family have run this place for a long time and it is a staple in Calgary - if you haven't tried it, you should. I love #18A ( no bean sprouts for me) and satay beef vermicelli and a bubble tea for the kid - we usually call ahead in case they are busy. This is a takeout place, not dine in! Their quality and taste have stood the test of time.“

“I was you restaurant on Saturday 14th ,2026. I was served by JoJo. ( I hope I got her name right, sorry if I did not) She was by her self around 10:30 am. I had a last minute order for 2 party trays. She was busy making subs for customers but still accommodated me and in 40 minutes had my order ready by her self. JoJo gave me some good suggestions , gave me condiments on the side so our sandwiches do not go soggy as we would be eating in an hour.

“The guy who made my food clearly cared about his job, he made me an amazing sandwich and he had excellent customer service. While I was waiting in line I looked up and I noticed that there were cameras directly above each sandwich making station and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I do not like that its either Subway international or this resturant specifically is recording my face with one camera and my sandwich order at rhe same time. That feels like a violation. Not including the fact that for the staff who are being considered constantly recorded for what ever reason. I thought this was Canada. “We visited Super Variety today and ordered the Hometown Hero and Uncle Phil (Hot Carlton), with a side of fries. The space is small and cozy, with genuinely friendly service and a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. The Hometown Hero was well executed and to us felt like inspired by an Italian bomb style sandwich, with balanced proportions and good structure.
