“I visited the Calgary Subway today (Sunday) and wanted to share some positive feedback. This was my first time eating at this location, and I am so glad I went. I usually stay away from eating out, but this place definitely changed my mind and I will go back!
​The store was extremely clean and the food tasted great. Most importantly, the employee named Nav gave me excellent customer service. She was very professional and welcoming. It is in a great spot in our beautiful city, located in the Deerfoot City plaza right across from my GoodLife gym. Please let her know she is doing a wonderful job!✌️🙏❤️“

“This is honestly the best Subway location I’ve ever been to in Calgary. The store is always spotless, and the food is consistently fresh the bread is fluffy, the veggies are crisp, and everything tastes amazing every single time. They’re also very generous with their portions, which makes a huge difference in the quality of the sandwiches.

They always wrap everything with care so nothing falls apart, and their hygiene and presentation are excellent. They have mixed up a few of my online orders before, but despite that, this location still deserves a full 5 stars. The quality, freshness, and service here are unmatched.“

“I ordered delivery through Uber Eats for a business meeting lunch. The sandwiches, burger, and wraps were delicious. I ordered a couple with modifications (GF and sourdough). The original order was cancelled through Uber eats and to make up for mix up, there was a note in the order that Industrial Sandwich did not charge for the modifications. I will definitely order from Industrial Sandwich again and will recommend them. Thanks for the great food!“

“One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a Subway. It was quite busy when I went and I had to wait in line for 5-10 minutes but as soon as I entered, the staff warmly welcomed me, and did the same for everyone who came in after me. A huge shout-out to the staff for being friendly, and paying attention to cleanliness despite being so busy. They consistently switched gloves to avoid contamination and maintained a warm atmosphere. Would highly recommend!!“

“Saigon Deli (Banh Mi Saigon) is a great spot for Vietnamese subs. The bánh mì here is really good—fresh bread, flavorful fillings, and a nice balance of textures.

What stood out the most is that my kids have tried bánh mì from many places across Canada, from Vancouver to Toronto, and this is the one they like the most. That says a lot.“

My partner and I have been here twice now, and we are planning to try every sandwich on the menu!

We've had the Cubano, and the Muffaleta. Both are sandwiches with strong personalities, and we could taste the quality of each ingredient!

Its obvious how much these guys care about the quality of their food, and I'm so happy they are only a short bike ride away from me!“

“I visited your restaurant with my family on July 11, 2026. The food was great, and we enjoyed our meal.

My only concern was when I went to pay. Your debit machine prompted me for a tip, but there was no option to leave a 0% tip. I found that very frustrating.

As an owner, I think it's important to know that some customers are discouraged by this. While I realize I may be in the minority, I don't believe customers should have to search for a way to decline tipping. It can make people feel pressured or uncomfortable.

Our bill was $42, and the machine suggested a 20% tip—an additional $8.40. I don't mind choosing to tip when I feel it's appropriate, but I believe it should always be a genuine choice, including the option to leave 0%.

Unfortunately, this experience is enough that I'll likely avoid visiting this Subway location in the future—not because of the food or the service, both of which were good, but because of the payment experience.

I wanted to share this feedback in the hope that you'll consider adjusting the payment terminal settings so customers have a clear option to decline tipping if they choose.“

This establishment is a YYC staple. Located as a literal hole in the wall meters from Riverfront Drive, you find this spectacular Vietnamese sandwich shop. Quaint in stature, it really is easy to miss since typical signage in any Chinatown in all metropolitan cities don't lack a frenetic display of shops/ restaurants and services provided by the surrounding businesses. It will be much more simple to look for the line up of patrons which typically strewn out into the parking lot and often out to the city sidewalk. The take-out only restaurant is simplistic in its design where you walk into the place roughly 3' x 4' In dimensions and wait on your order for less than 5- 10 or so minutes to have the freshly constructed hot sandwich in your hands 🔥.

Before the previous owners had sold the business they were giving a lot more meat in the subs. It appears the new owners changed the serving size as well as the source as now the chicken looks like thinly sliced patties. Given the fact that this sandwich isn't nearly as full as before, the taste and price are bang on and keep this sandwich shop at the top of the list.

There is nothing fancy about the decor and there doesn't need to be. I often find that restaurants that lack in decor, typically excel in food creation as well as taste!! This is a standard operating procedure for Asian restauranteurs when highly skilled cooks and Chefs open their establishments. This is one of my many theories anyway.

The service here is great. Operating like a well oiled machine, never having to wait longer than 5-7minutes once you've placed your order on a truly busy day.“

While I was waiting in line I looked up and I noticed that there were cameras directly above each sandwich making station and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I do not like that its either Subway international or this resturant specifically is recording my face with one camera and my sandwich order at rhe same time. That feels like a violation. Not including the fact that for the staff who are being considered constantly recorded for what ever reason. I thought this was Canada. I was raised to believe that you train and trust your staff to have integrity and work to the best of there ability.
