“I ordered a custom cake from Cake Bake Shoppe for my son’s 12th birthday and unfortunately there was a mix-up with the pickup date, so the cake wasn’t ready when I arrived. As you can imagine, that was really disappointing in the moment.

However, the way they handled the situation truly stood out. The owner and the employee at the front were both incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating. They immediately worked to make things right and even offered free delivery. When that didn’t work with my schedule, they prioritized the order and had the custom cake ready within about two hours.

Mistakes can happen anywhere, but the level of care, professionalism, and kindness they showed really meant a lot. Their customer service was excellent and I really appreciated how hard they worked to fix the situation and help make my son’s birthday special.“

She also baked and decorated the Wedding Cake and all the cupcakes for dessert, here on site. She is an incredible person. I am so happy I had the honour to meet her and work with her for a bit. “As a vegan baking enthusiast myself, I often struggle to find quality baked goods or cakes in Calgary. Kashew bakery is simply the best, even on a global level! Nothing I've ever had anywhere else comes close to what this bakery makes. I read somewhere that the owner is a German master baker, which explains a lot. You can tell how the ingredients are carefully selected and crafted into a delicacy that anyone - whether vegan, gluten-free, or omnivore, can enjoy. They harmonize and not only provide the right texture but also full flavors, something that can be a challenge when it comes to baking plant-based. My absolute favorite are the Almond Croissants, they're scrumptions and I'm so glad they're sold at all Lina's locations these days.

“Hunterhorn Bakery haa been around for ages and for good reason. Their pastries and baked goods are consistent and reliable.

One popular item is their sausage roll. It has a decent amount of meat though it is not as flakey as others. For $2.50, it will provide some satiation of your hunger.“
