“My husband and I are literally addicted to Greedy Donuts. These are hands down some of the best donuts we have ever had. Every single one tastes unbelievably fresh, soft, and perfectly made, with the most incredible creamy fillings that honestly remind me so much of the homemade donuts my grandma used to make. I genuinely don’t think you can go wrong with any flavor, but some of my personal favorites are the strawberry, peach, grenach, maple pecan, and lemon. “I ordered a custom cake from Cake Bake Shoppe for my son’s 12th birthday and unfortunately there was a mix-up with the pickup date, so the cake wasn’t ready when I arrived. As you can imagine, that was really disappointing in the moment.

However, the way they handled the situation truly stood out. The owner and the employee at the front were both incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating. They immediately worked to make things right and even offered free delivery. When that didn’t work with my schedule, they prioritized the order and had the custom cake ready within about two hours.

“This past weekend, I had the privilege to meet Kalia, from Kakes & Kanvas. Kalia was an absolute Ray of Sunshine . Not only was she in the wedding party. She also baked and decorated the Wedding Cake and all the cupcakes for dessert, here on site. She is an incredible person. I am so happy I had the honour to meet her and work with her for a bit. Her attention to detail is top notch. I must say that her cake and cupcakes were a hit with the crowd. Not a crumb was left behind. The guests raved about how delicious it all was. “For anyone living in the North, I wanted to share a gem that my family and I have found in Harvest Hills. We have tried so many items and love every single thing. Every type of bread (whole wheat, white, chocolate), cheese buns, muffins, meat pies, hot dog buns, meat buns, croissants, pies, cookies, I could go on and on. I am not a donut lover but the donuts and donut holes are something I want to eat every day. The service is amazing and when we leave, we are set for lunches for the week. “As a vegan baking enthusiast myself, I often struggle to find quality baked goods or cakes in Calgary. Kashew bakery is simply the best, even on a global level! Nothing I've ever had anywhere else comes close to what this bakery makes. I read somewhere that the owner is a German master baker, which explains a lot. You can tell how the ingredients are carefully selected and crafted into a delicacy that anyone - whether vegan, gluten-free, or omnivore, can enjoy. They harmonize and not only provide the right texture but also full flavors, something that can be a challenge when it comes to baking plant-based. My absolute favorite are the Almond Croissants, they're scrumptions and I'm so glad they're sold at all Lina's locations these days.
