“they have hands down the best donairs in Calgary, their sweet sauce you could literally drink it's so good. Everyone is super nice, they changed their hours and were just closing when we arrived, but saw me run over and happily let us in to make us food before they closed. Which I'm super thankful for. I'm not sure if it's the same guy as before running it or his kids from what I've read in other reviews, but I'm so happy they didn't close down for good I hope they always stay open.“

“A shawarma location where you can be served quickly, I went there on a busy when I wanted to eat quickly and I could get my lunch in less than 5 minutes while in other restaurants in the area I would need to wait for a long time to be served. The shawarma plate came with rice, choice of salad, a falafel and even a baklava and a pita bread.“

“We stopped here to grab a bite before heading to the airport and I’m glad we did. The food was delicious and the portions are big. Top notch service from a young gentleman who recommended the chicken kebab plate and the chicken shawarma wrap. You can’t go wrong with either of these options. The meat was flavourful and moist. Would definitely visit again the next time we are in town.“

“I have been eating at Pita Stop since their days at the old location on 17th Ave SE. The falafel is one of my absolute favorites. The produce is so always fresh. Everything is made to order, and never sits under a heat lamp. I could eat there every day if my budget would allow it! It is such an incredible treat! And don’t forget the baklava! My mouth drools excessively just thinking about.
On top of the fantastic products that they sell, the staff is so sweet. The wonderful woman who always runs the front has nothing but a smile every time I come in. The conversation is wonderful. I have nothing but good things to say about Pita stop.“

“I recently visited Little Lebanon Restaurant, and one dish has been on my mind ever since: their Haloumi Pie. From the first bite, it was clear this was something special. The pastry was perfectly baked flaky and golden on the outside, giving way to a soft, warm interior. Inside, the generous filling of grilled haloumi cheese was the star. It was beautifully salty, with that iconic squeaky texture, and had a wonderfully creamy melt without being greasy. The seasoning was just right, allowing the quality of the cheese to shine, perhaps with just a hint of fresh mint or a brush of olive oil that tied everything together. It felt both comforting and indulgent—a simple dish executed to absolute perfection. It’s the kind of food that makes you pause and just appreciate how good it is.“
