“I'm a tough critic and let me tell you, you can't find better value for your money and expectations anywhere else for pizza and chicken. I love COU in general, but this specific location always exceeds expectations in every way. Incredible quality, generous amount of toppings, insane chicken and all at very reasonable rates. Give them a try! I always get the $52 Freedom of choice which gives you 2 large unlimited topping 14inch pizzas with wings and a drink!“

“My family and I decided to try something different. We came here on a whim and the food did not disappoint. The portions were very generous and the staff and service were super friendly and courteous. The food was very delicious and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. “We ordered as a company for our monthly appreciation lunch. The food was great. Everything I ordered was included. They did mention that their food is slightly spicier but did a pretty good job at making it milder. The only item that was on the spicier side were the beef seekh kababs (they did mention this to me prior, so we knew to expect this). The butter chicken was really great. They were generous with the food portions - we had plenty leftover. Overall, the staff really enjoyed the food. Service was exceptional!“

“If ambience isn’t your priority and you’re simply looking for authentic Nihari, Haleem, and Kulfi Falooda, this is absolutely the place to go!
I’ll admit, when I first walked in, I wasn’t very hopeful. The ambience is quite basic and the overall vibe didn’t immediately impress me. But then the food arrived… and OH GOD! The Nihari and Haleem completely changed my mind. 🤌
The flavours instantly took me back to the old-school local restaurants of Burns Road, Karachi — rich, traditional, comforting, and genuinely authentic. This is the kind of taste that’s becoming harder and harder to find.
The Nihari was outstanding, the Haleem was packed with flavour, and finishing it off with Kulfi Falooda made the experience even better. I also tried their Paratha Beef Boti Roll, which was very good as well.
They have plenty of other items on the menu, but for me, the Nihari and Haleem are the real stars. 🌟

“Ordered CPU tonight. For the price I was impressed with the Pizzas I received. They were delicious. However I decided to try something else on the menu, Donair Dippers I was extremely disappointed, as you can see from the picture. I received burnt sticks, the menu says you get 8, I only received 6 and it didn’t come with the donair sauce or any dip for that matter for dipping. So I guess my review is stick to pizza!!!“

“I was starving after the gym today and popped my head in pretty close to 9 pm and asked if they had and food ready that wouldn't dirty the kitchen. She immediately said come in come in you can order whatever you want no problem. Most places for SURE would have told me no.
So props to the wonderful woman working the closing shift on Mon Aug 10th!
Ive been here 3 times now and the food is always incredible and the place is spotless“

“Delicious chicken and can’t wait to try other dishes they serve. We just stopped in to check it out and possibly grab a quick bite. Ended up grabbing a couple of their chicken burgers (reg) and from those alone my wife and I plan to return because it had so much flavour. Personally their chicken burgers are better than KFC after they replaced the Big Crunch to a basic filet burger. They’re better than Popeyes and Jolliebee and I can only imagine how good the Korean dishes will be. An absolute must check for yourself and you’re welcome 😉“

“I ate here today for the first time. AMAZING. I have 12 food allergies, and was free and clear. Knowledgeable staff made sure to make recommendations based on my allergies to keep me safe. Fat head crust, Hawaiian pizza with pepperoni. totally GF and free of everything I had to worry about. Can't give this place enough stars. Best part I also purchased take and bake pizza for home. “We went to the Daawat restaurant two days ago. The Food was fresh, delicious. The best part is fresh naan and delicious meals. The staff was welcoming, respectful, polite and informative. “The best restuarant in calgary. I tried indian food from many places in calgary but this is the place i would really recommend. Although it took more time for the order but they provide fresh and delicious meals so, it was worth it. Must try.“

“I’ve been coming here with my wife for quite some time now, and realistically we stumbled onto this place late at night and decided to give it a try. The owner, Raj, is an exceptionally professional person who immediately met us with a smile on his face. The inside is kept clean, floors were swept, eating spaces were spotless, and the service counter was not dirty. The first night we ever came here we ordered a small $6 8” personal pizza with 4 toppings of your choice is what my wife ordered, and I had a go with the large $15 lamb biryani. Let me just say, the absolute VALUE you pay for. The portion on the biryani is humungous at this price, and you won’t find that anywhere else guaranteed. It came with two containers of sauces, and it gets made fresh. The lamb was tender and flavourful, and the cook on the rice was pretty spot on, not overcooked nor undercooked. The spices were in a pleasant balance to my surprise. As for the 8” pizza, my wife got beef, mushrooms, spinach. She said that the crust wasn’t too crispy, and the sauce had a very nice balance for the amount of toppings that are put on , I quote, “what a steal for 6 bucks.” Fast forward, whenever me and my wife are hungry and it’s late, we always come here. Raj is nothing short of the nicest man who will treat you with respect. I disagree with the individuals who dislike him, most likely due to shortsightedness in the fact that respect goes two ways between people. I will come here forever for the food, service, and wonderful prices. Thank you Raj!!“

“The staff here are great.. Calgary has a lot of people that are new to this type of cuisine.
The staff are so great at explaining the different dishes, and the toppings available.

“I visited Shawarma Barlow with my wife and 3 small kids. The staff was absolutely amazing and the food was great!! I’m not sure if one of the staff was the owner but he did a wonderful job of taking care of us and my kids!!!“
