“We ordered as a company for our monthly appreciation lunch. The food was great. Everything I ordered was included. They did mention that their food is slightly spicier but did a pretty good job at making it milder. The only item that was on the spicier side were the beef seekh kababs (they did mention this to me prior, so we knew to expect this). The butter chicken was really great. They were generous with the food portions - we had plenty leftover. Overall, the staff really enjoyed the food. Service was exceptional!“

“Tried it for the first time today. Loved the halwa puri combo! Authentic Pakistani taste in Calgary which is hard to find. Owner Raja himself was on the counter and very active in managing orders and services. Only thing I didn't like was the congested space however if a restaurant exceeds your expectations on food, all other sins are forgiven. Highly recommended!“

“We had a celebratory breakfast at Raja Foods this weekend. Raja foods management helped us plan the event. A buffet was setup serving sumptuous Nihari, Payas, Chickpeas, Potatoes and Halwa. Puris and Naans were served fresh to our guests. This created a very memorable breakfast for our guests. One improvement would be to plan for garbage disposal for a gathering of this size.“

“We showed up at 1:15am on a Friday night and weren’t entirely sure if we would be able to get a good meal so late in the evening. Javid(?) the owner seated us personally and served us a fresh and delicious meal (A sensational curry and a huge kebab) ASAP and even threw in a warm dessert at no charge. Honestly he made us feel like family. The prices were a steal for the portion size and quality. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.“

“We ordered take away today, bun kebabs and kebab roll and beef kebab rolls were so delicious. Haleem and nihari were yummy as well. It was our first visit and we will go again and again. Loved the food and falooda icecream was just super amazing.“

“Tried Spice Hut for the first time, and it was good! The Fish Pakora and Mix Grill Platter were full of flavor and tasted so authentic. We also had the Butter Chicken, Chilli Chicken, and Tarka Daal, and every dish was delicious.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely a 10/10 experience—I’ll be coming back for sure!“

“Everything I had was amazing! The butter chicken was delicious - went down so easy with the naan bread. The chicken tikka was perfect! Loved the veggie pakoras. The allu ghobi was packed with flavour! The veg biryani rice was excellent. And I hadn’t had gulab jamun before, but they were so tasty!

The Fish Tandoori was pure artistry. It was so tender it melted at the slightest touch, infused with spices that didn’t overpower but instead opened the palate beautifully. The sauces were perfectly balanced — gently spiced, rich, and surprisingly comforting.
Being a lamb enthusiast who has explored many Indian and Pakistani restaurants, I decided to try the Lamb Rogan Josh. I was genuinely blown away. The lamb was unbelievably tender, literally melting in my mouth, and the depth of flavor felt almost indescribable. It was one of those rare dishes where every bite feels like discovering something new — warm, complex, and deeply satisfying.
The service was incredibly kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was calm, elegant, and relaxing. It truly feels like the perfect place for a special occasion — or simply a night when you want to treat yourself to something exceptional.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience offered. My only concern after sharing this review is that I might have to wait in line for a table next time… but honestly, it would be worth every second.“

“We went to the Daawat restaurant two days ago. The Food was fresh, delicious. The best part is fresh naan and delicious meals. The staff was welcoming, respectful, polite and informative. The atmosphere was good, and con improve more in music and Furnitures. I highly recommend this restaurant for meet lovers and fresh foods.“
