Les Moulins La Fayette is a fantastic cafe located near a hotel in Calgary. With plenty of seating for meetings or casual lunches, they offer excellent coffee, pastries, and pressed sandwiches. The freshest bakes are served, and customers are very fond of this place, going often for their outstanding pastries and desserts. The cafe has lots of Parisian decor pieces and art, with lots of variety including cookies, French style pastries, croissants, muffins, and even sandwiches and lunch items. Some days the latte is good, and other days it tastes like flavoured scalded milk. The muffin was large but inside was very dense and kind of gooey/sticky. Kids ate some chocolate macaroon's that were sandwich with more chocolate, the wife had some cheese cake and a Mille Feuille. All pastry's were delicious. The staff is very friendly.
