Governor's Reviews
This is a decent local pub.
I found the fries too salty but the fish was very good.

Nice niebourhood pub. Limited selection in the beer department, but all in all, a nice spot with friendly staff. Very limited parking.

Governor's is a welcoming spot with an "everyone knows your name" atmosphere, featuring a free pool table and jukebox. It serves as a great place to catch up with friends or drop in solo for a casual meal and beer. The menu highlights homemade dishes like chicken fingers, beef dips, and chicken wings, all made with care. Customers appreciate the "no airs" vibe and find it a good place to enjoy lunch or supper specials.
The service is noted for being warm and attentive, with staff like Kylie making a significant impact. She is praised for her drink skills, timing, and ability to remember orders, making everyone feel like a regular. On Wing Wednesday, the wings are a standout at just 50 cents, and the homemade sauces, especially the hot peach mixed with suicide, receive high marks. Overall, Governor's offers a friendly atmosphere with good food and great service, making it a popular choice for locals.
