“Walked in on Friday night with 8 people. There were seating options for us and the kitchen was still open. The food took a bit of time to come out but it was fairly late (around midnight). The pizza is made with a flatbread-type crust which I quite enjoyed. Glad we found this spot!“

“Tried Taste of India during our trip to Calgary. Initially I did a take out and loved their tandoor roti and chicken tikka. The flavors were authentic to North Indian food and spice level was as requested.

We decided to visit as a family and tried their lunch, the food was cooked to perfection and most importantly it was flavorful. Their Tea is a must too.

For lunch we tried Tandoori Chicken, Goat curry , Veggie Hakka and Matter Panner

“Delicious food, I had the bison burger, with fries and gravy. Burger was delicious, fries had amazing taste, with and without gravy, and the gravy was flavorful. Big portion sizes ensure you don't leave with a empty stomach.
Great atmosphere. Gives you the hole in the wall feeling type of pub without the dingyness. Was a clean pub. Coffee was hot and strong.
Service was amazing. My server Evezi was friendly and efficient, always there to ensure if I needed anything else.
Whenever I'm in Calgary I try to go to a place I haven't been before, but I would make an exception for this place“

Unfortunately the owner has decided to keep a foul mouthed waitress on staff who is thankless with zero Customer Service skills. I am sure she would never last anywhere else. “Great neighborhood pub. We come most Sundays for wings. Some of the better wings I've had in Calgary. Great beers on tap. Only complaint is the vibe is kinda dark and divey but not in a good dive bar kind of way. If they could brighten it up in there it would likely be the best pub in the South.“

“I can't believe how long we have lived in the vicinity of "Tops" and not discovered it. The food is amazing. No more "restaurant loginess" after a meal. Everything we have tried there is excellent. It's not all about the pizza. Try the beef dip, the lasagna and the spaghatti and meatballs. Their Greek salad is perfect. I downrated "atmosphere" a bit because if you don't enjoy the sports bar sounds they have a nice room for you off to the side. It's a bit dark and there's no view. But who cares anyway? You will be treated like a guest, not just a customer.“

“I have been living in the neighborhood for over 15 years now. I had stopped into Swiggs a few years ago. I did think nay this place is not for me. I had heard about their fish and chips a couple months ago. I thought I would give it another try. I have been totally happy with the service and food now. I almost go in weekly for the steak, fish and chips or wings on their special nights. I am so happy I decided to go in. It is almost a weekly stop now. Thank you so much to the chef Francis - the steaks are awesome. Thank you so much to the Service staff - Justen and Adria. It is always a pleasure to see your smiling faces. “Great sports vibe. Lots of tv’s. Best beef sliders I have ever had. Weird artichoke dip with off tasting tortilla chips and rather bland dip. But those sliders more than made up for the poor dip. Scott was a great server. The waitress was not present at all. At the end of the day, football was a plenty and the house lager was solid and only $6. So a good visit overall I do reckon.“
