“Absolutely loved this restaurant for breakfast! The atmosphere was amazing the music was great and we felt welcomed the moment we walked in.

What made our experience even more special was Manjeet. She was incredibly attentive kind, charming and professional. Her warm smile and the way she interacted with our family truly stood out.

Interestingly we had actually met Manjeet about a year ago during a family trip at another restaurant. At that time I remember complimenting her for her wonderful presentation and the way she made our family feel so comfortable. I even told her that my wife really liked the way she spoke with her and my daughter also loved meeting and talking with her.

Today we happened to meet her again at this new restaurant and she was just as surprised as we were that we still remembered her! It was such a lovely and unexpected moment for our family.

The food was incredible as well and the overall experience was excellent. 100% would come back and definitely recommend this place to everyone.

“We went to the Tibb’s Eve kitchen party and it was so much fun. Great atmosphere, good food, live music, our server(Sarah?) was so friendly and funny and kept on top of everything on a very busy night. They even had a visit from a mummer! Will definitely visit again when we are in Calgary. Loved the whole experience!!!“

“I love coming here I just wish it wasnt so expensive to to get in😭, 30$ for a dj is a little out of my price range. I don't mind paying more for the drag shows and stuff but I usually don't end up going if it's a dj for the price (unless you get there early it's only 10$ but MAKE SURE YOUR EARLY or per pay entry online not the best for a last minute thing tho)“

“My first visit to Taste of India (Strathcona location) yesterday, and it absolutely blew me away. The food was ridiculously delicious—every bite felt like it had something to prove, and it delivered.

“Had my birthday dinner here with my daughter. We had an assortment of appetizers. Fried pickles were fabulous. Fried mushrooms were very good and a huge portion. The sausage rolls were the best ever! We also shared a Scottish poutine. The haggis was under seasoned but it was otherwise an average poutine. The service was great:)“

“We used to enjoy coming to Mugs Pub for their great wings especially on Tuesday and Wednesday. Unfortunately the owner has decided to keep a foul mouthed waitress on staff who is thankless with zero Customer Service skills. I am sure she would never last anywhere else. “We’ve lived in the area for 13 years and have been on-and-off Schooners patrons over the years. It’s one of those Calgary pubs that everyone seems to know — and to be honest, we’re not totally sure why. There’s nothing particularly standout, but the food is consistent, the drinks are cold, and it hits the mark when you just want something easy and familiar.

Living next door definitely adds to the convenience. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable, and sometimes that’s all you need.“

“I have been living in the neighborhood for over 15 years now. I had stopped into Swiggs a few years ago. I did think nay this place is not for me. I had heard about their fish and chips a couple months ago. I thought I would give it another try. I have been totally happy with the service and food now. I almost go in weekly for the steak, fish and chips or wings on their special nights. I am so happy I decided to go in. It is almost a weekly stop now. After reading several reviews before we went everyone was raving about the great service unfortunately this wasn't really the case with us. There was nothing wrong with the service itself it was the waiters misdemeanor. It's like he didn't want to be there at all, no smile, no spark no sign of life...kinda killed the vibe. He only perked up when we left him a decent size tip.“
