She was working alone, and even though was attending a 40th birthday party for a special friend,and there were over 35 people in our group alone, she was so prompt, friendly and we never waited for drinks and/or food, Great job Aram and Rob for hiring this young lady and many thanks to you all for a fabulous evening. “Love to go here for karaoke. The karaoke hosts are all very talented, organized and know how too run a great show, always a great time. Great volume control. Can enjoy the music and still visit with friends. Had the nacho on my last visit they were delishish. Servers have always been friendly and kepted me well hydrated. The owner is friendly and very hands on which shows. Great place to go.“

“Didn’t look like much when I seen the outside of the building but had an awesome server with Rose she handled over 40 people by herself and killed it very skilled bartender no one was waiting for there food or drinks. Food was top notch too definitely my new home bar since I’m a block away.“

“We came in after having a great experience last time. When we went and sat, Max came up to us to take our drink order. After delivering them to us, she let us know our server was going to be right with us. Almost 15 minutes later, Max came back and told us she’d just take our order. The other server Chrissy seemed to be completely avoiding us and another party there, who wanted brunch but was unable to get it due to not being served in time. We knew we were being avoided when she made eye contact but only came up to us when we finally got our food and to pay. I hope the tip I left went to Max. The 5 star is for Max being extremely kind even while being busy and the food which is fantastic. Good work Max, hope to see you again :)“

“The menu is surprisingly good. Wings are good and it seems that every night of wing night! The steak sandwich was excellent. The clubhouse is a cozy bar and kitchen. The staff have all been welcoming and friendly. After living in Douglasdale for nearly 19 years we just recently discovered the bar and grill is open in the winter.“

“Every staff member was extremely kind/welcoming not just at the bar and grill but throughout. Very relaxing atmospher (plus they have a beautiful GIAAANT Christmas tree in the lobby, nice photo op) would highly recommend their food, their menu is impressive and the service was excellent. “I wish I could give it a 10 🌟-rate. Thoughtful, truly caring service, amazing food, quiet place, and relaxing vibe. My partner had bison burger, I had chicken wings, Ceaser salad, and cheese cake. Everything was 10/10. Prices are lower than downtown, portions are huge, everything tasted fresh and was nicely presented. Excellent choice of sweets/ dessert.“

“We ordered the Juliet’s platter through Skip and it is an insane deal for a movie night. They also went above and beyond to accommodate for our dietary restrictions. Lots of variety in the box and each item were really good, especially the wings and the cool sauces they have.“

“My husband and I used Charbar as our reception/dinner venue for our wedding in August 2022. Besides a few hiccups, which are to be expected, we had a great experience with them! The food was amazing and all of our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about it! The venue is a beautiful spot, and minimal decor was needed. The bar staff that we had the night of were great and made sure we were taken care of. We were able to have a tasting before hand and our coordinators worked with us to come up with a specialty cocktail that fit our budget. The only thing that might have been lacking was communication between ourselves, the coordinator, and the staff working our event. We struggled to get answers back right away through email, but our wedding was around Stampede time. There were a few mix-ups the night before and the day of our wedding. For example: We were dropping off our cake the night before to be refrigerated and was told that the manager on shift would know about it. When we got there, no one had any idea what we were talking about and our cake was almost given to the wedding that was happening that night. The day of we did not have a charged microphone, and there were some technical difficulties with the sound system during our dances. It was also not communicated on our end that non-alcoholic beverages were charged @$4/drink. Our wedding party also got their food served to them last, so we had to push back our schedule with speeches. There was also supposed to be a separate table set up for our photographer to eat at, and as we were being served dinner, it was then realized she had no where to sit. These hiccups are minor, but definitely made it so there were some added stresses to the day. Besides the difficulties with communication, we would recommend Charbar for your wedding if you are looking for something that is small and simple, but still modern! I would suggest hiring a coordinator if you do choose to use Charbar, only for the fact that as a young couple who did not know the ins and outs of wedding planning, there were things that were missed through communication that shouldn't have been and a wedding coordinator would be able to avoid this with their knowledge and expertise.“

“Came last friday afternoon and had some drinks and was served by Amelia, who was absolutely amazing. She suggested the butter chicken as well and it was delicious. She was funny and friendly and made my drinks perfect and exactly how I asked without any issues with my modifications, and ill definitely be coming back when shes working!“
