Cant beat the prices or homemade quality...the one in edmonton was good too...now clsed in Chinatown...Portuguese bread....yummy

Calgary Italian Bakery serves consistently delicious sandwiches, including the hot veggie spread, made to order at reasonable prices. The staff is incredibly friendly and hard working, providing excellent service. It is a great hidden gem and a favourite place to grab a quick sandwich at lunch time with fresh products and great value. They also have a hot menu that changes, and great daily soups. If you want a slice of the daily pizza, arrive before 11:30.
