Stopped by at Alloy on a Sunday morning hoping for good light through the windows, and the place did not disappoint, especially with the sun hitting the open kitchen just right. Got there around 10am and it was quiet enough that I could actually take a few shots of my plate without feeling rushed or in anyone's way. Such a wonderful place.
We stopped by Alloy on our way through Calgary a couple weeks ago and it ended up being the highlight of the trip, honestly. The seared scallops were cooked perfectly and the server took the time to explain the whole menu since neither of us had been there before. It's got a nice warm atmosphere, not too loud, so we could actually talk through our whole meal without straining to hear each other.
