“For several months I ignored this humble looking diner. 😌 Found some courage and wandered in to see if the enthusiastic reviews were true. There is a big dining area with lots of tables surrounding the central buffet. My eyebrows went up when I saw 😋 the fresh, hot options that us buffet fans have come to expect...5 stars 🌟 for the sweet and sour ribs that just fell off the bone and earned a second serving for this guy. There was a smallish dessert 🍨 bar...wouldn't impress most but the main course won 🏆 us over...tip option started at 15%which I find excessive for self-serve...but it didn't discourage a possible return since the total price for the meal landed at $50 for the pair of us... $20 before tip for this over-entitled senior...making it a a competitive option to the $30 we always donate for burgers 🍔 at The Dub next door 🚪 Dining area was drab and dated but if your hungry and have 20 minutes to spare and not lookin for stunning decor...you just might enjoy this culinary delight just off the highway 😀“

“This place has the best egg rolls in southern Alberta hands down. I don't live too close so I can't enjoy this restaurant often, but when I'm around Vulcan I always make a point to either come in and eat or at least get a few egg rolls to go. If you do want the egg rolls call to check they have them, they only make so many a day. Again can't say enough good things about this place.“
