Great food. Large meals. Good menu.
Visiting from Edmonton. Very pleasantly surprised. Had the BBQ pork, fried noodles, almond chicken and spring rolls. Everything was delicious, but the BBQ pork was especially stand-out.
My aunt wants their steamed chicken every time she visits, and we build the meal around that. Every dish has been a winner so far: Peking pork ribs were tender, green beans had a nice crunch (I had seconds, though I don't normally care for green beans), house fried noodles were very generous with the ingredients ... Five dishes fed six people perfectly, and at a surprisingly low price for what we got.

Emerald Garden is a hidden gem serving authentic Chinese cuisine. The food is delicious and not overly sweet, with generous portion sizes at a great value. The ginger beef is noted for being excellent and not chewy, while the Eight Treasure Duck, which must be ordered two days in advance, is a must-try, stuffed with sticky rice, salted egg yolk, scallops, lotus seeds, mushrooms, chestnuts, and sausage.
