“A week ago, on a very quiet and early Sunday morning, had one of the better…or best ever. Egg Benny’s. Poached just as we asked, and the hollandaise is the best. Simple wedge fries on the side and a good coffee.
My wife and I can’t wait to travel thru YYC again, just to try other Belgian Beer Cafe dishes!“

“Just had dinner here with 3 friends. We all loved our meals which is an awesome experience! I had the west coast salmon which was spectacular, a friend raved about the burger and we even had desserts which were to die for.“

“The food was delicious! It was my first time going and I would definitely go back. It's not a very big restaurant but they do have a patio that we ate out on. I had the California Classic hamburger and shared an order of the fries. Both the regular fries and the coney fries are good and perfect size for sharing. I also appreciated the wet wipe they serve with their burgers.“

“I was in Calgary with friends for an event yesterday. We strolled down Stephen Avenue and stopped in for a yummy early lunch! It was incredible! Very nice, open atmosphere!“

“I’ve started going to the mash ever since I’ve been mentioned by a current bartender who always fills my drinks up when I need someone to talk to. The staff there go above n beyond with the effort they provide in making sure it’s a comfortable and enjoyable environment, shout out to miss Kiesa as well making the atmosphere really pop!! kitchen does me numbers when they fill be right up with the all meat pizza! - I recommend! Definitely a place i’d recommend for friends and family and for sure a place to take your honey too ;)“

“we had Kennedy serve us tonight. she had us laughing and smiling. so happy she is back. we had her sit with us when she was off her. Her and Molly are the best. Maddy and Haley are so great too. happy smiles, friendly yet professional. Koodos to some great staff and awesome food. love my Wed/Thurs and occasional Sat wing nights and killer steak bites“

“Small menu but tons of good options. And the menu changes frequently so go back every season to try the new flavors. I had the Cajun chicken which came with crispy kale and mashed potatoes. I added prawns on the side for extra protein. My date had the steak, with broccolini and mashed. Everything was cooked perfectly. The only exception was that we wanted gravy for the potatoes and it was discontinued. Bring back the gravy!!!
Desserts were well prepared and tasty, better than most typical restaurants id say.
Service was awesome especially for how busy it was. Will be back again soon. Sooner if they add gravy to the menu.“
