What a little gem of a restaurant. We stayed next door at the holiday inn. Stopped in to this bar for happy hour and what a quaint little spot. Jimmy the bartender was amazing. Nice cold beer for 4.50 a draft. Met some amazing people at the bar, watched the jays game and enjoyed our visit. We decided to order a pizza to take back to our room. One of the tastiest, fresh pizzas we have ever had. We would highly recommended stopping by if you are in the area

We booked in the HI X press 8th Ave. next door unaware of Billy's and the Comedy Cave. We had occasion to frequent this establishment a few times during our week in Calgary. We found it comfortable, friendly and the pizza... best we've had! There are "regulars" that frequent this bar daily. Good folk after a hard day's labour and they are "colorful!" As I said, it isn't "Cheers" but I thought I saw "Norm" at one of the...

Went to the location with a couple of friends to watch the calgary flames. I got the Foreign Affair Medium Pizza, it was a decent portion with loaded toppings and a good helping of cheese. Only downsides were that the place is smaller than other bar's ive gone out to and ATM was out of order.
