Loophole Coffee Bar Reviews
Came here to see a friend's band play and I love it here. It's a good venue for maybe thirty people at a time and I had a damn blast. I cannot speak to the food, I didn't get any (I'm poor) but everything else was stellar.
It is one of the best coffee Ive ever had. Now I go there every day. The coffee bean quality is excellent!
Was here after hours for a show and the owners are very welcoming, they have a nice selection of drinks, I only had canned beverages this time but the coffees and teas looked lovely.
The small space is inviting and bright with an interesting layout, the coffee shop at the forefront with seating indoors and out, and the much darker intimate show space at the back, everyone stood but they did have fold out chairs for seating.

Loophole Coffee Bar offers a mixed experience for its customers. The vibe is great, with a cozy atmosphere and friendly baristas. The service is described as nice, and the gluten-free milk options received positive feedback. Many reviews highlight the tastiness of the menu items, particularly the blood orange hot chocolate. However, there are some downsides, such as the bathroom being a "tad gross" and the overall atmosphere feeling "industrial" and "scratchy." The counter service has been noted as slow and unfriendly, which some appreciate for the focus on good coffee. The lack of labels on the pastries and the limited number of outlets were also mentioned as inconveniences. Additionally, street parking is described as brutal, and there is a warning about parking in the nearby empty dirt lot reserved for doctors. Despite these issues, Loophole Coffee Bar seems to provide a decent coffee experience and is committed to building a culture and giving back to the community, making it a spot worth visiting in Calgary.
