Not only did we get to sit in the cute nook by the window, the service was amazing. Our server who we think is the owner was very attentive, sweet and a joy to talk to and be around. The food was absolutely delicious. Started with the whipped ricotta, which was delicious! We got the chicken and the squid ink linguine and finished off with the tiramisu for dessert. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Thank you so much!

Everything was fabulous- food, service, great general ambiance. Only thing that could be improved is adding a candle on the table- with many tables not having any light over top it was a little too dark.
Our server was amazing he let my friend and I catch up without interrupting our conversation the pizza with the snap peas I feel like was missing something but still tasted good. Wine was simple which I liked. Over all was amazing I'll come back again and try out the other pizzas and dishes on the menu

We had dinner here a few weeks ago and it was ok.... but not great. The server was over every 5 minutes asking if we had made up our minds, finally my husband told him to go away (nicely!) and we'd call him over when we were ready. It kind of set the tone for the night. Rushed food; we wanted to take our time and sip wine but they really want you in/out. Also, I went to the ladies room mid-meal and saw two over flowed toilets with human waste in them, paper towel on the floor, not the cleanest restroom for a slick Calgary eatery. I am not sure we will return to be honest.

The culinary experience was delightful, with each dish being a testament to the kitchen's skill. Notably, they impressively catered to the dietary needs of our vegetarian and gluten-free companion by preparing a special off-menu item. The staff's helpfulness and the restaurant's charming atmosphere combined to create a memorable dining experience.

Let me start by saying that the service was very good. The staff are friendly and seem to know the menu. The food came quickly although our entrées appeared before we had finished our appetizers. The food itself was the problem. The whipped ricotta was fine, and came with enough grilled bread to spread it on (which seems to be a rarity these days), but it didn’t have a whole lot of flavor. Much could be said of the other dishes we ordered. I almost had the sense that there is a shortage of garlic, herbs and pepper. The pasta dish we had was particularly bland, tasting very much like… overcooked pasta. The pizza we had was reasonably good, but I’ve had much better in Calgary. The room had a nice ambiance and feel, except for the very generic and boomy pop music, which didn’t match the cuisine in any way. Not sure Annabelle’s will come to mind the next time we’re looking for a place to eat downtown…

Food was delicious. Artichokes were my favorite. Noise level was a bit excessive for having conversations. The music could have been turned down since the chatter from patrons is already enough noise. Can't wait to come again. Waitress was attentive but almost too much, to the point of coming to the table and reaching across the moment a dish was empty and getting a tiny bit intrusive. Only minor picky complaints. Overall, lovely as usual!

Lovely dinner experience!We came for a birthday dinner on a Saturday. We booked a reservation just in case given that it’s located on Stephen Ave.The space inside was beautiful and felt intimate. Our orders were taken promptly and we didn’t wait long for our food and drinks. We specifically picked Anabelle’s because they have gf options. I ordered the Squid Ink Linguine and it was one of the best pastas I’ve had in a while. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the flavours were amazing - lots of garlic, slightly spicy, and there was a surprising amount of shrimp and fish pieces. I would definitely return for this dish alone. I was worried about the portion size given the price, but it was 100% worth it and I did not leave hungry.Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. It was a perfect spot for a celebratory meal with friends. I’d definitely return to try more on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Me and my friend ordered a soup and a salad for start and they were both inedibly salty. I am personally type of person that adds salt to everything so this was very shocking even for me who likes salt.We asked for the bill without finishing our food and the waiter didn't even ask anything.I wouldn't really go there again, specially considering the price range I expected to receive better service and dining experience.
