Wow, the breakfast here was absolutely amazing. The hash browns were super crispy. The burger was cooked beautifully with a perfectly toasted bun. Everything was just wonderful.

The place is a bit small though. So, seating is limited.

We ordered 2 banh mi sandwiches and they come with fries or papaya salad, we got one of each, and wow, the fries were crispy and well seasoned, but their papaya salad was so packed with herbs and veggies, and it was all so fresh!

The banh mi sandwiches were also super delicious; the bread was so crispy and crackly on the outside and so soft in the inside and their choice of fillings were so good and generously portioned!

Our server was also so very sweet and accommodating. I think we found our favorite banh mi spot in Calgary!

Very great food. Small simple place but the menu had some very unique items compared to other Vietnamese places around. The plates were beautiful and creative. I will definitely be back to try more.

I'm usually never in this part of the city but had an appointment nearby and I'm so happy to have found this spot! The food was amazing, so flavourful and different from most viet places in such a good way. We shared the spring rolls, inhad the satay beef soup and my mom had the chicken drunken noodles. Im going to ask for an extra side of the carrot & radish side salad the served with the spring rolls next time. Definitely be back . . The service was friendly, place was spotless and can't speak highly enough about the food.

Hidden gem! 2nd time here. The stew and the noodle soup is top notch with deep flavor. The beef dip is also unbelievably layered. And the price is way lower than what the food deserves. This is not your average neighborhood joint!

Wow. Just delicious. The place doesn't look like anything special from the outside - just another strip mall restaurant - but the food and service were exceptional! We just stopped in for a few snacks but wished we could try everything. The table next to us ordered many dishes that all looked tempting. We will be back for sure!

The best bún thịt nướng, cơm tấm and traditional bánh mì that I've had in Canada. The flavors take me straight back to those mornings in Vietnam, where the air is filled with the irresistible aroma of charbroiled meats. It’s not just about the food but like a little taste of home that makes me feel warm and nostalgic.

Delicious food, especially if you are looking for something unique that you won't find anywhere else. The portions are also very reasonable for the price. My only comment is the service we received from our waitress was lacking. She had forgotten we requested a hash brown substitution instead of fries and then rushed the kitchen to have the hash browns served right way which then resulted in the potatoes being undercooked. We also ordered a side of pancake towards the end of our meal which came out very raw. When we told our waitress she brought the pancake back to the kitchen and had them put it back on the griddle to cook more. The thing is I had already cut into the pancake with a used fork and knife, and the waitress was well-aware of this. This put us off because from an infection-control standpoint, food that has been touched by a customer is contaminated, therefore should never re-enter the kitchen and especially should not be placed on a surface where other customers' food are being prepared. If it wasn't for our server this would have been a 5-star review, but otherwise our visit here was overall a good experience and we will definitely be back to try more of the food.

Update: My family and I returned to this restaurant and the staff were very apologetic about the service from our previous visit. They made a lot of effort to ensure things went well this second time and it did not go unnoticed. This business truly cares about customer satisfaction and this is a quality that is not easy to find with companies nowadays. I highly recommend eating here, it will definitely be enjoyable.

Food so good it jolts you alive. When we got Mama Hoa's Signature Braised Beef Stew, we fell upon the container atop our kitchen stove like wolves -- well, wolves who could stand on two legs and take turns furiously dipping a baguette -- and it never made it to the bowls on our counter. The District 5 Peanut Satay Soup, though not described as pho, is the best pho-adjacent -- and I'd venture, pho -- soup in Calgary. Calgarians may find the servings a little less than the usual Viet in town but remember, enjoy memorable quality, not quantity. A talented chef. Bonjour Saigon is a very welcome addition to the city's northwest.

Grabbed the last few seats at the bar on a whim and was not disappointed. Amazing service and excellent food. I had the steak and eggs with pork belly and it was sublime. So much flavour!
