Excellent ramen, onigiri, sushi, food overall! We were so happy with the quality and taste of our ramen; bouncy chewy noodles, deep flavour in the broth, and harmonious toppings. I especially loved the tomato based broth that was recommended by staff, though be warned that it's very tomato forward and not something I have seen offered in Calgary elsewhere. It's for this reason I decided to try it, and loved it SO much!

The black tonkotsu ramen was excellent and rich. My partner crushed his bowl very quickly (and then finished my tomato broth, too lol)

The rice in the onigiri and sushi was especially perfect! We noticed the high quality and perfect cook of the rice, and the staff were very proud and particular about any rice in dishes offered on their menu.

Next time we come back, we will try the sake flight and beer offered, as well as the different regional ramen and onigiri on the menu. They even have stamp cards for returning visits, if there wasn't already enough incentive to return! Highly recommend!!

This little gem is amazing.. wish I had known sooner! Chicking has a wide variety of ramen to choose from, and so far every one I have tried has been delicious and completely different in taste. Their namesake ramen bowl, Chicking, is a pizza like twist on ramen from Nagasaki and it's pretty good. There are also Sushi and Onigiri menus to order from. They have a points system in place where every 12 ramen bowls you order you get one free! There are a couple of vegetarian and vegan options available as well

We've come to really enjoy this place. Owner and staff are very nice. Ramen is fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Spicy Miso is definitely a fave. Dumplings are outstanding. Very reasonably priced and lots of parking in the back lane. Check it out! 👍❤️👍

Hidden little spot but with lots of seating and cozy atmosphere. We had such a good experience! The woman serving is one of the owners and she is amazing and informative on the food. You can truly tell how much passion has gone into everything at the restaurant. The food was amazing and the price is amazing. Will be coming back!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The broth is incredibly delicious and flavorful, and the ramen was absolutely perfect. What made the experience even better was the stellar service! Our server took the time to thoroughly explain the menu and ensured everyone understood the regular, spicy, and vegan options.

The interior is exceptionally clean and very inviting.

I hadn’t tried this place before because, based on the name, I assumed it was a fried chicken restaurant. However, I’ll definitely be back soon—it’s a solid A+!

I just moved into the area and stumbled upon this place. I think it will be a new staple for me as we head into soup season.
I had the spicy miso ramen, the seaweed salad and popcorn chicken. The broth was so tasty, with the meat cooked perfectly. The noodles were still firm and they were unique - not like some other ramen shops or pre-packaged ramen I’m familiar with. It was legit the first time I have found ramen worth the money.
The girls working were super sweet and friendly. They helped with the menu and gave me some suggestions. The little house so quaint and was kept spotlessly clean. I sat by the window and people watched.
