The best sushi restaurant in Calgary
Stopped by after a late appointment on a Tuesday and they were totally cool with my lab sitting under the patio table while we ate. The miso black cod was fantastic and came out fast even though the kitchen was clearly busy. Staff brought over a water bowl without us even asking, which honestly sold me more than the food did. Parking was easy to find nearby too, so this is officially our new go to spot for dinner with the dog.
We stopped by Sushi Bistro Anzu on a quiet Sunday morning before the lunch rush and really enjoyed how unhurried the whole experience felt. The server walked us through the omakase-style set since we'd never tried one, and the grilled miso salmon was easily the best thing we ate all week.
