We came here around 2 years ago and the difference in quality is quite noticeable. We ordered the stone bowl bibimpap, gopchang hotpot, deluxe tendon hot pot, and a seafood pancake. The gopchang hotpot had a good flavor overall with the beef being a little tough, the deluxe tendon hotpot was similar in that the beef was quite dry. The soup also had an overpowering amount of black pepper in it as that was virtually the only thing you could taste. The seafood pancake was nice and crispy, however, the bibimpap was disappointing. Being that it came in a stone bowl it was our assumption that the bowl would be heated, non of the four bowls were. The toppings were a little lackluster with the beef being tough and the rice being overdone and a little too soft.

I've gone here quite a few times. They are very Celiac friendly, and I've never had a problem being accomodated for. I almost always get the stone bowl bibimbap because its just so good. The place has great lighting and there's usually something on the tvs related to food which is funny to me and the friend i go with because we both swear it makes us hungrier

Update: Went back today after 7 years (not sure why we waited so long!) And it's the same superb quality. We dined in for lunch and got the stone bowl beef and pork bbq bibimbap. They were both really good, as usual. We also tried the whole octopus (Large). We liked it so much, we almost ate all of it (took some home in the end). Our server was remarkable- he was running the entire dining room today. We got two rounds of serving for our side dishes. The kimchi, mung bean, daikon and sweet potato (?) were really great. It was balanced, fresh and completed the meal just like how a Korean dish should be eaten. We'll be back for sure with some rounds of soju!

Probably the best bibimbap bowl I've ever tasted in Calgary! Went for dinner and also tried their Korean style fried rice. Delicious! I live how the owner cautioned us that the meal we ordered are all hot :) We like it hot!

We've been coming here for years and love the egg bowl and seafood pancake as well as the Korean short ribs aka LA Galbi. We tried the Soy Garlic Pork today because they had a sheet with the menu promoting it and it's instantly become a new favorite!

Korean Bowls is our go to Korean place if we want to satisfy our Korean cravings. Quick and friendly service at its best.

I only ordered three things:
Beef Bibimbap - which is very good, my constant Korean fix
Seafood Pancake - very yummy, theres real cut- seafoods on it
Deep Fried Squid tentacles - like a calamari kind, its good appetizer

The food was either bland or outrageously spicy aside from the japchae which was super sweet. We got the chicken skewers, sashimi cold noodles, japchae and bibimbap. The food was quite pricy for what we got.

Came to eat here with the family and we had AMAZING Korean food. My wife and I lived in Seoul for a few months and this was by far the best bibimbap we had since being back home. 10/10 would recommend.

We just flew in from San Francisco and ordered bibimbap, spicy cold noodles, and soybean paste hot pot through Uber Eats. Everything was really good — comforting, flavorful, and beyond our expectations. Perfect meal after a long day. Highly recommend!
