I would give zero stars if I could. While the food quality is just average, the portion sizes are quite small for the price. However, my biggest concern is the inconsistency in customer service.
On one occasion, when I dined with an elderly relative, the staff were quite polite and accommodating. However, when I visited alone, the treatment was noticeably different. I ordered a bowl of rice vermicelli with toppings, but the staff later told me they had run out. I asked if I could keep the toppings but switch to rice noodles instead, and the staff member firmly said no, insisting that I choose another dish.
Shortly after, a family at the next table ordered the same rice vermicelli. The same staff member told them it was unavailable but then proactively offered them the rice noodles as a substitute—the exact option I had requested but was denied. This left me wondering: Why was I treated differently? Was it because I was dining alone? Was it because I looked young?
This kind of service inconsistency is unacceptable. I had hoped for a fair and respectful dining experience, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome.

I ran into someone who had a wedding here when I got here. We asked five staff members to say we wanted to add food, but none of them paid any attention to us. If you're too busy with a wedding, you can stop taking guests

Terrible service, literally everyone working on the cafe side is rude and doesn't even know how to serve customers, I say this from experience. The two memorable times are when we waited 40 min for a clam dish that never showed up and the server just said cancel it. Another time is when the combo item was wrong, she tried to argue that it was the right one, but just to find out she did give me the wrong dish. The cafe side needs to hire some new servers or retrain their servers.

Great option for authentic Cantonese/Hong Kong style food. Extensive menu, although I usually stick to the noodle and rice dishes. Service is lacking, you definitely need to wave them down, and I don’t think they’ve ever said thank you to me after paying (and still tipping 15% - for what? I don’t know) but the food is delicious.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs available
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, relatively accessible.

Terrible service. After 30 minutes, my food still haven't showed up. My friend was already done his meal. People at other tables who arrived after me were also already eating. When I asked the waitress where my order was, she just shrugged and said it's busy at dinner time. You ought to have to wait. That's what she told me. The place was not busy. The place wasn't even 1/3 full. So I just went and paid for the one dinner. The waitress still didn't apologize, didn't say anything and just had this didn't care at all attitude.

Food was average. Chow mein needed more seasoning. Gave lower star because lack in service. I always have to go up to their station to ask for something. Overall it's an alright food experience. Try their salt and pepper octopus. It's the best dish on the table. They have increased price on menu.

Service is so bad and their waitresses are rude and don't care about their guests. And the dishes taste so so.Never come back again.
I visited cafe HK for the first time, I always go to Tpot next door. Food was great with good value.I tried Szechuan style noodle with chicken. It had a lot of toppings on top, starting with juicy chicken thigh, fish cake, deep fried tofu, ground pork with chive, bean curd, spring onion, etc…soup was light, probably premade soup mix with msg, not very spicy. I liked the dish, it was so hearty!I also tried half and half baked rice, it was good too. There is another one which comes on sizzling hot plate, that one would have been better choice. You can also order dim sum from T pot, we ordered bean curd roll with shrimp, it was delicious!Food came fast and server comes and top up tea pretty often. I paid extra to upgrade my drink to red bean and milk slush, it was also delicious and great value for the price.Overall, I left the restaurant stuffed, everything was good and potion was so big. I’d definitely come back and try something different.
Vegetarian options: They have toast and some dim sum menu has vegetarian options
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible

Unpleasant taste and terribly overpriced. The interior also felt very grimy and the utensils appeared greasy, which really dampened our dining experience. I requested a new pair of chopsticks as the first pair was unclean. The food was overly salty and there appeared to be a lack of quality and care in the preparation of the dishes, giving the impression that everything was thrown together in a rush. Despite this, the prices were unreasonable high. The rating of this place is reflective of its quality - do reconsider if you’re planning to dine / order from here.

I would definitely give a zero if I can. The price is not cheap but the sizes of dishes are quite small and the taste is just fair.More important is the inconsistency in customer service. When I went there with an elder uncle, the staff were quite nice to us. However, when I visited there on my own, the service was quite bad.At that time I ordered a bowl of rice vermicelli with some toppings but the lady came back and said all rice vermicelli had been sold out. So, I asked her if I could keep the toppings but go for rice noodles. She directly said NO and asked me to pick another dish from the menu, so I did make another choice. The table next to mine was then taken by a family and they were served by the same lady. The mother ordered the same rice vermicelli just like what I did. The lady immediately said all rice vermicelli had been sold out and she actively asked the mother if rice noodles would do! What? I just wonder why I was not deserved to be given a favour just like the family. Is it because I look young or weak?

Food is good but the price is not good. With just a few pieces of meat charges $14.99 plus GST and tips is almost $19 for a small bowl of 車仔麪?.
There’s always flies flying over our food and my friend even got one died on her hair which is so scary . The bathroom is full of smell and uncomfortable being in there .

I placed my order and waited for half an hour but no food was served. I asked her to cancel and she said it would be available immediately? It's a bad tip, and it's an instant shame. I won't go there again, it's a bad shop...
