“This was my first time at The Captain's Boil, and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, menu easy to understand, and the staff was very friendly and constantly checking in on me during my meal. I ordered the Caesar, Dungeness crab with captains boil flavour, and had medium heat. I added corn and sausage for my sides. Overall everything was so good and the total came to $90. Prices will always vary based on market price which is pretty neat so if you time it right I'm sure it could be even more affordable“
“A solid spot for lunch after some shopping at Market Mall! First of all, the portions are always large, the plates are usually stuffed to the brim with food and the staff don’t shy away from giving a lot of meat. Each time I’ve visited, the food is still hot with good flavour and quality overall. The prices are average and the service is decent. Recommend checking this out if you’re craving some Asian fast food!“
“I like this restaurant,good service and delicious food, maybe serve a little fast, but this is fast food,I am agreed, I usually only have 45mins break time,if service fast ,is very good to me. I am the regular customer, in this restaurant have many good customers, but I still saw many customers very rude attitude to their workers.Is unfair to their workers . Many customers always not line up, just order their workers,What they want. But they didn’t consider about the other customers still waiting…..and their workers still serving someone else , some people not respect the other customers and staffs.I saw same negative feedback , I have to say, this is not 100 % tangible! Some people is selfish and arrogant. Because they wantgreedy for some things. If staff not allowed. They get angry,after scold them….It is doesn’t make sense….Please! Don’t do that! “I went for the first time in like 25 years last weekend and it was a great time! One friends of mine were playing so my girlfriend and I decided to have a date night. We ordered some food. And way too many beers! She had the shrimp Po boy. It was good, the shrimp was crisp, the feg was fresh, nothing got too soggy, sauce was flavorful. The corn bread... Wow!!! I could have eaten a whole tray to myself! I had the mac and cheese. It had a good kick. Lots of jalapenos, the chorizo was good. It wasn't too runny and it didn't seize as some house mad mac and cheese have a tendency to do. All in all it was a great night and it's beyond sad and disappointing such a great little piece of Calgary music heritage is being replaced by more condos. I will miss it!“
