We sought out this bakery at the recommendation of a friend and I’m truly disappointed. We weren’t impressed that they accept cash only and thought that was a tad outdated for the times we live in. In all fairness their pastries may be very good but because I enjoy baking I very rarely purchase desserts. We did however purchase 3 different kinds of bread loaves and a dozen white buns all of which lack dept of flavour and and pretty much taste the same. Good luck getting a sandwich to hold its structure if you’re adding condiments.

I'm leaving 3 stars because they do not take any cards, also no signage on windows or anything saying so. There is a very small sign posted on bottom front of the till that says "cash or chèque" like it's 1980 or something. Not noticeable at all when you walk in, especially cuz till is on the left side too. It's a little ridiculous they don't take any cards in 2023, however respect their choice to do so, but at the very least, put a sign on the window or something!? Can't speak to any of the baked goods since I got her to pack up stuff for me only to find out they don't take any cards whatsoever. Left disappointed. Probably won't go back for that reason.

Tried cinnamon twists, veggie rolls, cheese bread and cinnamon buns. Cheese bread was the only hit in our house. I noticed it says cash only here which wasn’t on the website the other day. ?Not our preferred bakery that’s for sure, will not return.

Cream horns, vanilla slices, butterscotch slices, oh my!BEST OF THE BEST, her baking is absolutely delightful and most of all, memorable!My mum says it’s “proper dreams” as she enjoys her vanilla slice.I ordered a box of pastries but clearly did not bring home enough as the box disappeared before my eyes within minutes.I will be back for sure! Thank you for your amazing little bakery! What a hidden gem ?
Wonderful bakery that is almost 35 years old. The owners are very kind and genuine people. I visited there today after not having been since I was a child. Very reasonable prices and they haven't changed a thing (which is good!). I had a very nice visit with the owners reminiscing about my childhood field trip there and they still had my favorite confetti squares! You owe it to yourself to visit this bakery! P.s. they only accept cash and I like it that way.

I purchased white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, chocolate chip cookies, an apple and strawberry strudel, and some hot dog buns. Everything was delicious. They only take cash so be sure to have some. I'll be back for more of everything.
