The food is excellent. We have been here a few times now and highly recommend it. The service is always pleasant and helpful. The one thing I like is when its a special occassion they dont bother you every 5 minutes on how everything is when you are trying to enjoy your night out. But are there to help you when needed.
We had a lovely dinner at the Cattle Baron with the exception of my steak arriving over cooked. When our server eventually returned to ask how our meal was we were almost done and she ran away to get her note pad so she could dispute what I had ordered. Thanks I have been ordering my steak this way for over 50 years, I don't need the staff telling me what they think I said.
We wanted a nice steakhouse but didn't want to pay to pay top dollare for haute cuisine and CattleBaron was perfect! Portions were generous and steak was done perfectly. 2 sides are included. Fresh bread and whipped butter was delicious. My boyfriend had the 7 oz sirloin and calamari and he said they were both excellent.
