Food quality was poor. We were not informed their still water was Evian and there would be a $15 charge. This was very poor communication. Overall very disappointed in the experience. Would not recommend this restaurant.

As always, the food is a 10/10! Hand made short rib ravioli is spectacular along with the chicken parmigiana. Very pleasant atmosphere and amazing service. Additionally the bathrooms are mesmerizing!

Excellent food quality - we had a veal chop and veal scallopini. Professional service. Menu has range of choices making it suitable for a variety of budgets.

Wonderful place to dine before a function at the arts centre. They'll accommodate timing with the timing of your performance time and it's a quick walk over. Food is fantastic.

Context: Two couples with several arts/ events tix, so dining downtown frequently. Both couples had eaten at Centini in past, but not recently, and we booked in effort to try/ try again dining options pre theatre. Dining room is pleasant, with an upscale vibe as expected. Staff all very friendly, but somewhat inefficient. Eg: we ordered one bottle and two individual glasses of wine. Bottle and two glasses of wine delivered to table, however bottle sat unopened for at least 10 minutes. We refilled our glasses ourselves, not a big deal. Food: Caesar salad was amongst the worst ever. Room temp lettuce with one (sq inch size) of bacon. Total mediocrity. Others enjoyed their soup and starters. Mains were all tasty, one was not served hot. It was well prepared but had sat for some minutes, so was warm, but not piping hot as expected. Centini did not impress us. For the price and promoted upscale vibe we did not find it worth it. We think other downtown Italian menus offer equal or better food, service and value.

The restaurant was overbooked. A table for 3 turned out to be large enough for 10- made conversation challenging. No beverages were offered. Waited one hour for food order. Had to gobble and go as the concert was about to begin. No discount for poor service. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration but turned out to be a fiasco. For such a high end restaurant, quality vs capacity constraints must be resolved.

We stopped only for coffee and dessert. All was great. Service high end. Atmosphere classic.

I've only ever been here for invited events, so I have no idea how much things cost or whether the cost is reasonable. But certainly the atmosphere is very professional and classy, the food is delicious and filling, and the staff are always super friendly.

I thought the restaurant coukd have assisted more when we left and needed a taxi due to heavy rain. That was the only issue. The halibut bouillabaisse was excellent.

Excellent food and service. Old school vibe might keep the influencers away. But don't be fooled. This place is the real deal.

Unfortunately it was a night to forget at Centini. We have been fans of Centini for many years and have had family celebrations in the private function room over the years. We were seated in the private function room as the main dining room was booked by a convention. We were celebrating our anniversary. We ordered 3 courses for my wife and I to each share. After the salad, we had a full 1 hour wait for our food to arrive. We ordered a favorite pasta dish as our 2nd and the branzino for our main. They served both our 2nd and 3rd courses together, not hw we had ordered. The ragout pasta, a favorite, had no ragout which made the pasta dry, and so tasteless. By the time, we got to the branzino, which was well prepared, it had cooled and so the taste was disappointing. Apologies came and they comp'ed desert. Our sense is that the kitchen was overwhelmed with the convention and it showed in both food and service. We feel Centini should have closed to regular patrons on such a night. I was very disappointed with the dover sole-overcooked and dry .It looked and tasted like it had been cooked in a deep fryer.

Everything was wonderful but I would suggest anyone with young kids I put on the bar side away from the fine dining side. The child was yelling and screaming.

We had an excellent experience at Centini. Since there was construction downtown, we arrived with a significant delay; when I called, the restaurant said they would keep our reserved table without a problem (even though they were very busy). When we arrived, we were asked if we had a show to catch, which was the case. There was a rush put on our order, everything was served quickly, and we had more than enough time to enjoy our meal. And the meal was delicious. My orange roughy was perfect, and my friend very much enjoyed her excellent spaghetti bolognese. Thank you for the outstanding service and delicious meal! We will be back!
