Rosso probably has my favorite coffee and pastries among all the third wave coffee shops in Calgary. My only critique is that the service isn't the greatest. The staff are generally inattentive, sound bored, and aren't too helpful when asked questions (for example, ingredients in the food). I like how staff isn't too fussy - kind of like Tim Hortons in service.
Busy, but worth the wait. Only a few spots in Calgary have decent coffee and although rosso is a chain, it's good. Really good. Food is amazing as well... the bagels are not typical but delicious too. A style I don't recognize.

A bit expensive yeah but totally worth it by the taste of coffee. On top of that, the staff was really friendly and seemed happy. In fact it was my first time, so they explained their menu too.
