This hot pot restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a little strip mall off Centre Street. The seating is a little tight but their hot pot is delicious-- great variety of broth choices on the menu. We enjoyed a quiet dinner with our friends here. It's really fun to cook your own meal. We left full and satisfied. Look forward to returning again soon.Parking: The strip mall has limited parking space.

Nice owners in this hotpot place. Menu has step n guides u to pick the size ie small (1 meat) or large (2 meat kinds), then select broth, noodle type, etc.Small was enough for all of us. Personal hot pots and you cook it yourself. Control knobs located around your tummy where u seatJust note its easy to over cook!

For the price.... can't beat it! As a chef myself, I find that they could raise their price a little bit more. I'd say 15% to 18% more. Highly recommended! I guess the owner is playing it safe. Which I fully understand with whatever the F is happening in our economy right now. Kuddos to everyone who works here and to the owner.

We ate here in a party of five and all ordered hotpot. Food was okay but I felt it could have been better. I have nothing to compare it too, however, as this was my first hotpot experience but I didn't enjoy it in comparison to other Japanese cuisine. Two other parties came in after us and there were already 2 adults and a child eating as we entered. The girl who took our order looked rushed off her feet; I'm assuming she is also assisting with preparing the food as she's in and out of the kitchen. I had to query where our drinks were after they served us our hotpot without them. When we finished eating she had her head in her hands sitting on a table with the other kitchen staff. It was a pretty random experience but the other members of my party seemed to have a better experience so cest la vie I guess.

It was our first time at Centre Street Japanese Hotpot. We thought the food's quality was excellent and the price very reasonable.The only two inconveniences that I want to mention was the fact that I thought the decoration was a bit basic. Also, I was a bit disappointed to find out that there was no alcoholic beverages on the menu. I don't want to look like I'm complaining, but I really think that there could be a bit more of variety on the drinks menu.But overall, again, food was delicious and the staff was very nice and helpful. I will definitely eat there again, and next time I will make sure to bring more people with us. Thanks for a good evening! :)
