My family and I had an amazing customer service experience yesterday. Staff quickly and professionally resolved issues with a gift card, then the manager brought us free mimosa's for the hassle, and offered free coffee to go on the way out. Food and service were spectacular as well! I'll be back again!

Cute little place in a good location. It's counter service, not table service, so those complaining that they had to go to the counter to order must be confused. But the counter service was friendly and quick. I got the eggs bennie and like so many places, they use fake hollandaise. Unfortunately, their version is honestly awful. I had to scrape it off my food to eat my eggs and biscuit. Everything else on the plate was well cooked and not bad, but the blanket of nasty sauce ruined it. I might go again to try another menu item. I liked the space and the coffee was good. They really need to address that sauce though.

I stay at the Alt East Village in Calgary so I can have an excellent morning breakfast at CHIX. Start with an awesome latte and then pick from a very good menu. Great way to start your day in Calgary! The atmosphere is so good and the staff are always upbeat and friendly. Like Iryna is! Highly recommend this place. Enjoy.

Poor quality ingredients. Chicken was bland tasting and was warmed up not fresh cooked. Avocado in the sandwich was the size of a loonie. Low value overall. C

I went twice to this cute, little diner and enjoyed the food both times. The Chorizo spiced Alberta beef in my breakfast bowl was definitely the star of the dish. It was well-spiced, flavorful and not greasy like in a sausage bowl. Great combination of flavors, with scrambled eggs, hollandaise and fresh tomatoes on a bed of well-seasoned breakfast potatoes. Seasoned beef with hollandaise is a unique and delicious combination I have never seen, and I would buy some of the beef if it's available for sale, it's that good. My dining companion reported the Falafel scrambler bowl as also delicious and she enjoyed the skillet cooked Falafel burger. Thanks for not deep-frying the patti. You have some very unique ingredients and flavorful combinations.
I appreciated the cold, serve yourself water available at the pickup counter. Service was good and our dishes were hot and delivered promptly. The one missing star is because the restaurant was hot and humid on both days we visited in contrast to the deliciously cool lobby of the Alt Hotel.

Chorizo sausage bowl tastes great! Wish there was a bit more meat, but overall fantastic bowl. Potato wedges reminded me of A&W fries and the seasoning in the dish was great. - Seating is comfortable and a good place to sit with your laptop to work during/after lunch.

I love going here, the staff are great, but a few months ago they changed the buns on the sandwiches and it went from my favourite breakfast spot to a disappointment, completely changed the flavour for the worst. bring back the brioche bun:(

Came to Chix Diner 2/3 days we stayed at The Alt. The staff were very nice, the food however was just okay.
One the first day, my spouse and I ordered different dishes, i had the avocado toast which was fine but a bit bland. my spouse had ordered the classic chix but the dish was missing the side of avocado.
on the second morning we both ordered the breakfast poutine, it was tasty but they both came with chicken in them which wasnt advertised as being a part of the dish, thankfully neither of us are vegetarian. The breakfast poutine was pretty good besides that.
might be worth working on dish accuracy.

Great breakfast but even though the milkshakes tasted good, they were too sweet.
