My first time in CHIX Eggshop I ordered a classic chicken and waffles, which is named CHIX Waffles on their menu. Alongside the first order, I added potato wedges on the side. The seasoning on the potato wedges were delicious!
The diner has a calm atmosphere, there was barely anybody there, which I think introverts would like to dine.
The second time I went to this diner, I had Bella Benny. The hollandaise was delicious! The only regret I had was that the bacon underneath the two sunny-side up eggs became soggy. All in all it was a hearty breakfast for me!
After breakfast though, I discovered a lounge inside. Hang out there for quite a while. No one bothered me which was cool. There is also a billiard table in the lounge, though I don't know if it's free for anybody to play.

I think they do great classic western style breakfasts, but the bowls for lunch are SO small. I actually laughed when the huge bowl arrived that accentuated the tiny amount of food at the bottom. Really poor value.
Would do breakfast any time, but not lunch.

Should have asked for my Sunnyside eggs well done. Breakfast is ok and will do in a pinch but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Even if it's right in the hotel.

We live a few blocks away and are always so grateful to have an amazing place like this with fantastic food so nearby 💚 … the Cheese Louise with bacon is our absolute favourite and it’s our go to breakfast brunch sandwich along with potato wedges sooooo top notch 🤗 … They always know our order because we go at least twice a week … Always consistent with the food quality 😁 We like to run in and wait for our order which only takes less than 10 minutes and made from scratch … this friendly clean terrific restaurant is a must try A+++ 😘

I came here after seeing a bunch of raving reviews about the gf chicken strips. I was sorely disappointed and not sure why people were so excited for them. The chicken was very thin and like jerky. I had to work hard to rip bites off. The potatoes were good, and seasoned well. And the atmosphere is nice. But I wouldn't eat here again as a gf person.

I was staying here in September and ordered down from the hotel. This meal disappointing for a breakfast. Eggs were so over cooked, Benny was gross and flavorless, potatoes under cooked. Nothing was seasoned. If I stayed here again, I would absolutely not eat here . Breakfast is such an easy thing to do

Where do I began, the service is bad, server ignore you completely, I have to got to the counter to order the food. Food is bad and expensive, we ordered 2 dishs plus a cup of coffee and it cost 50 dollars... The egg is not cooked well, and the chicken strips are dry and tasteless, I can get better chicken strips at Costco. There are planny of good place to have breakfast/brunch. Avoid at all cost

The avocado in the avocado toast was really hard. The cheese and egg didn't taste right, gave us a stomach ache. Food wasn't seasoned well, needed salt and pepper. Not worth the cost.
