Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters in the Simmons Building offers excellent coffee, featuring a popular and flavorful roast. The cafe is known for its specialty beans, which continue to receive high praise from customers. Located in a beautiful historic building right by the river, it provides a scenic setting for enjoying coffee. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about quality, environmental, and social responsibility. The service at this location is AMAZING, with staff taking time to guide customers to the right beans and explain every nuance. The cafe can be busy, especially on weekends, but the line moves quickly, making it a great spot for pastries and sandwiches from Sidewalk Citizen. Customers especially love their lattes, including unique drinks like the coconut ube with coffee, strawberry matcha, iced chocolate drink, and ube coconut latte, which are said to be perfect every time. The coffee is smooth, with no particular bitterness or sourness, and it is a favorite spot for enjoying a great coffee experience while being close to scenic walks along the river and nearby St. Patrick's Island.
