Nice place. Pricey for the food. Fish and chips soggy. Kale salad and salmon great. Great service.

Batter on fish & chips was overpowering. I am used to crispy batter on fish & chips. Chips themselves were excellent.

Was not happy with quality of food, steak sandwich was extremely tough. Service was inadequate, was far to thirsty as they never came by.

Moderate Price for a Tourist Location. Very friendly staff that are open and Courteous. Food quality was excellent, and fast. Very happy with our visit!

The $16 Caesar salad needed more dressing, but the Reuben was awesome. Service was excellent. French onion soup was decent but not the best. Burger and fries were really good. Overall a great place to go for dinner, especially if you add the Halloween event after!

The experience and the food was amazing as usual. Maddie, Fatia, Brittany and the rest of the ladies gave fantastic service. We never had empty glasses or tea pots. And Maddie was kind enough to tell the chef of my nut allergy and get me an off menu dessert. All and all a great place to come for a holiday meal. I just wish they did Christmas dinner!

Everything was great but I was expecting dressed up servers as it was the Historical Heritage Park so not the ambiance I was looking for. Service was good and food was wonderful.

The staff was very friendly and kind. Service was in my opinion too fast, not giving us enough time between servings to enjoy or have a conversation. When I booked there were not many options or openings. Could not go back into the system to add another person. Yet when we came to the restaurant it was empty except 1 table. A bit slower, a bit more intentional, making it feel the meals were prepared, not waiting for us, would have made things perfect

This was for Thanksgiving dinner. We were early for the seating but the staff seemed to be very disorganized and inexperienced. The table had been preset but was incomplete. We had to request forks for the table. Service was slow and disorganized. The ambience was not good. No music, no decorations appropriate for the occasion though comfortable. The grill had set an automatic tip of 18% on an already expensive $55 per person regardless of the size of the table, we had three. We refused to pay this automatic charge. When the bill was presented, the waitress had already filled in the tip in the total. After three beers added on the table was $211, before tip! Not happy and probably will not be back.

The food was good, but the number of flies was off putting. It is a simple fix - sticky paper strips left overnight would take care of it. Otherwise we had a great time there. I would recommend this restaurant once they gat the flies issue under control.

White table cloths with servers wearing jeans - our server was wonderful but upon arriving I asked for help and a hostess said “don't ask me” and backed away. We were told not to buy tickets into the park as it wasn't worth it before our reservation (4pm). The dinner itself was good, turkey was tender - though they left out the stuffing on 2 of the plates. Different information given by different people about park attendance. Overall quite disappointing but wasn't the worst. Would not recommend.

Opentable Diner

We have gone to Selkirk Grille for 12 years for dinner, to celebrate our anniversary and this year was no exception. It was so alarming this year in that there were only 5 other people in the restaurant for dinner on Sat. of this Thanksgiving weekend and one was a family of 4 with 2 kids. Though service was good, (there was nobody to serve) it was a dolesome atmosphere. I read the terrible reviews ahead of time and was so disheartened. What has happened to this restaurant? It used to be so good and it was always full on the Sat. night when we celebrate. It was like a ghost town this year. The Prairie menu was so limited as well! The only other menu was a summer menu which featured sandwiches and burgers as their main items. This is not what I would choose to eat for diinner! Something desperately needs to change for the better at Selkirk Grille. It would be so sad to not have it around for our anniversary dinner next year.

Have dined here many times but unfortunately this time the restaurant was inundated with flies. We could barely eat our meal as we were always waving our hands to keep them from landing on our food. Absolutely disgusting. The piece of romaine lettuce in my bison burger was more black than green. The server said she would let the kitchen know. Service was slow, including our plates being left for an extended time after we finished (although 3 of the 4 of us wanted to go boxes the balance of our meal). Won't be returning anytime soon.

The drinks took 20 minutes to arrive and food took over 30 minutes. When Selkirk have a private event they need to make sure they have sufficient staff for regular customers. I regularly have lunch at Selkirk and this has happened a few times

We arrived for our reservation on time. We were seated and waited 15 minutes with no service. We went up to hostess to ask if we had a server. She said she would check. We waited another 10 minutes and saw nobody. So we left. A few tables around us came before us and were still waiting with water and no service
