We came for dinner to celebrate my mom's birthday and I have nothing but good things to say about my dining experience. The food was great—well-seasoned and balanced. Ambience—not crowded and not at all noisy. Our highlight of the evening was the service! They truly delivered excellent service—very accommodating and went above and beyond our expectations. I would gunning room is a favourite we always enjoy the meal there. It's always first class. Our server was on his first day, but did fairly well for the first time serving we will be back soon. It was most enjoyable.

We used to go to the Highwood every Valentine's Day before Covid. It was nice to be able to return! They had a special menu and we thoroughly enjoyed the choices. We love that you can actually converse with tablemates without intrusive music interfering. The student staff are eager and accommodating.
