COBS Bread Bakery 130th Ave

Visiting COBS Bread is always a delight! The products are consistently fresh and delicious, and the staff is warm and welcoming every time. I especially love the pull-apart loaves—they’re so good, I almost hope they stay a hidden gem!

I had the pleasure of visiting cobs recently and was blown away by the amazing service, especially from a young girl named Lola. She was incredibly fast, handling my order very efficiently. She helped carry a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Also her very positive attitude made the experience delightful! If you’re looking for a spot with great treats and outstanding service, this bakery-and especially Lola- won’t disappoint!

I normally use another Cobs store and this one was disappointing. The challa bread seemed rushed in the preparation and cooking and the spinach and feta "croissant" was actually a bun! Come on guys, if your colleagues in other stores can do better, you can also! Looking forward to finding your products improved next time.

The guy who gave my daughter and me scones had a sour face. He did not greet nor thank us for giving the store business. He looked at us blankly when paying. So my daughter picked the scones, stopped for a moment and looked at him and said thank you and have a nice day. It was my first and will be the last time there

Unusually busy when visited today. Pumpkin tarts seem to be a big hit today. I went for the chocolate raspberry croissant instead, delicious! And thank you for the free loaf of bread COBS.

Recently stopped in for a cinnamon bun and it was delicious but did seem to be a little underbaked. But delicious nonetheless?

Parking: There has been parking every time I have been, however not usually more than a couple spots available as it’s busy

Kid-friendliness: There is lots of options that kids would love

Wheelchair accessibility: There is accessible parking and the store itself is as well, however it is not large so when busy would be a bit tight but definitely doable

Not a fan of the White loaf at all. Very dense and thick. Not light and airy. It reminds me of Sourdough. I made cucumber, High tea sandwiches, and when trying to cut the crusts off, I flattened each slice. Won't eat that again. Garbage it went

Ordering from here on Skip has become a nightmare. They don't keep their stock up to date and just cancel orders on the fly instead.
Won't be ordering from here again or stopping in to grab anything.

Love the food, but if you want to order via skip then nothing is ever ready and they cancel the order without any word. Why even offer it at 9:00am if nothing is ready? Complete waste of time.

I usually go to the legacy branch which is great. The one on 130th ave is the worst in town. The guy working there was so rude and did not even help me when I asked for burger buns. I do not recommend this branch at all. The staff at the legacy branch are the best.
