If I could give the food a zero I would. I found a bug in my food which obviously meant I was not eating any more. It was wrapped around my chicken. I am so disgusted. What a waste of money.

This place used to be amazing! Food portions are so small now. Maybe 3 tiny pieces of broccoli, maybe one piece of mushroom. Used to be more rice. Costs going up, but portions becoming smaller and smaller. The staff are amazing though, always smiling, helpful and so helpful. The atmosphere is your generic room, and there's nothing wrong with that. I always get the teriyaki beef over rice. The yams are soft and limp lately. Will still buy from here though.

You just lost me as a customer today. Order sumo size (I make 2 meals out of it). It's barely full. The only thing that was right was no rice.Asked for Asian vegetables and get nothing but cabbage. This has happened 3 damn times. Been charged for it, but not received it. We're done. Being diabetic, this was a go to place to eat. Not anymore.

I love edo japan and people nowadays dont even know how to do costumer service but this woman was so kind and very helpful to me, i went in this location Wednesday 5pm for my dinner and ordered a lot, i wanna say thank you to Rachel she helps me a lot with my order, and i like her because her smile is very contagious and did a good job even though shes a new employee shes nice unlike others? I don’t think so.

I'm genuinely saddened to witness businesses in northeast Calgary facing severe criticism on Google for easily resolvable issues that could be addressed directly with the restaurant; whether its a local business or a franchise. I've been a patron of this Edo location since my high school days, and as far as I know, the ownership remains unchanged. The team has consistently shown kindness, maintained fair service/wait times, and kept the place impeccably clean; to mention their renovations too! Just picked up a takeout order, and the yam roll and teriyaki chicken rice bowl were both exceptional—10/10. Every visit here is a positive experience, and I sincerely wish the owner and this franchise location continued success.

I am a regular customer of this location, spending $250-300 on an average a month ordering food for the whole office or solo meals. For the solo meal, its just too much for me and good enough for me and my wife to share, so we just normally split and share at office. Today I was at a client's location and my wife was at office, so I asked the cashier to split the order into 2 separate containers, so that I just drop off one at office for my wife, but when I got my order, the cashier handed over the bag to me, when I went on to drop off the container to my wife, just found out that she put a small plate instead of the extra container and that too without letting me know. If I can pay extra for extra veggies or extra chicken then I would have paid for the extra container too and I was never told of that even. I would never go back to this location and instead would go 10 kms extra to Sunridge instead. Very poor customer service.
