This place is interesting. I have been going here for over 10-15 years. The food is amazing. Of course, it's EDO. If you love it, you know what I mean. All the food is great. No complaints there. The problem is the people they hire. It's clear these type of franchises hire students to save money and some of them can't even take your call properly with your order. However, it is what it is. It's the closest EDO to my house and so far, they have survived in my books.

My order wasn't cooked. The rice was undercooked. The mushrooms were still white. The veggies were not cooked they were crunchy. Won't go back.

So grossed out.... one of the people COOKING the food was coughing the entire time. Yes he had a mask on, and he was coughing into the mask OVER the food....he should NOT be cooking food if he is that sick! Kicking myself for not refusing to take the food and ask for my money back.... considering contacting the health inspector to report.
Service is great, restaurant and washroom, always clean. Great table space.

Kitchen bungled the order and was happy to remake it until the supervisor walked out and puffed his chest to tell me it wouldn’t be remade. Next time I’ll just get the supervisor to order for me because i never get what i ordered from this location anyway.
Served me the wrong meal on a to go order, proceeded to refuse to re-make the 5 Goyza that accompanied the order and had gotten cold. How can a business serve the wrong food, and then refuse to remake an already paid for item that has been ruined by your mistake?? Spoke to the supervisor and he was unbelievably unhelpful. It is your kitchen that made that error. Didn’t ask for refund or anything like that, simply just wanted the fresh food. Claimed it was “he didn’t mess up the Goyza, so he doesn’t have to remake it”. I have been here countless times, I will purposely make a point to go to any other location. Whoever owns this place, talk to your supervisor about standing behind your work and correcting your mistakes.
