Every time I eat here I am amazed at how much smaller the portions are than any other Edo. Take some notes from the Shawnessey location guys!
I ordered double beef and it feels smaller than a regular order anywhere else. $23 for a kid sized stir-fry is a rip off. I think they get smaller every time I go there.
Edit: I have been back twice since this review and it has been noticibly better and regular portions. Thank you Edo for addressing this.

I paid $20 for the double tokyo chicken but only got 20 pieces of small chicken, and some were not even chicken just fried batter.

Unfortunately I drove 15 minutes to this location, only to get home and open my order to see that I didn't receive any chicken on my Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. They didn't give me any teriyaki sauce but I asked for it before I left. Didn't realize I needed to ask for chicken too.

Noticeably skimpy on the portions. Got the bento box and they just had a tiny layer of rice at the bottom. Never had this issue at any other Edo location I've been to in Calgary.
Also got a nice fork full of rock hard stale rice, good stuff guys 👌

I usually don’t have any issues with this location and have always been treated kindly.
I came in around 6:00 and the store was very busy, which was completely understandable. I was dining in, and my sushi order was accidentally forgotten. The young girl at the front was extremely polite and kind while handling the situation.
However, I couldn’t ignore how the older woman (who I assume is the manager) spoke to her. From across the store, I could clearly hear and see how rude and harsh she was being. It was honestly shocking. With so many employees working on orders, it’s easy for something to be misplaced... mistakes happen, and that’s okay. But there is absolutely no excuse for treating staff that way.
The way that young employee was treated was unacceptable, and I truly hope this isn’t a regular occurrence.
Because of this experience, I’ll be switching to the Shawnessy location. I can’t support a workplace where employees are treated poorly. I hope management reflects on this and learns to treat their staff with more respect. Otherwise, they shouldn’t be in that position.

Staff members are very nice. Food is freshly made. Very clean, even the washrooms.
Came in was greeted with a warm smile, the young man behind the till was very nice and friendly. The food was served quick, definitely will be coming back! At first I wanted to take out but then I saw this young man’s smile behind the till and decided to dine in, it reminded me when I was a beautiful young man (cool/muscular). I like his smile btw. Definitely will come back btw! I have short term memory loss btw. I didn’t forget his welcoming heartwarming smile. The food was amazing btw

I didnt particularly enjoy the ramen or the poke bowl. Had better in wakado and hula. If you love those then here might not be for you.
