New pokè bowl 🥣 is a decent size for the price (the spicy tuna is not that spicy for me, but the flavour is quite tasty).

I saw that they have a new menu item-poke bowls. I got the spucy tuna 😋 delicious! For $13.95, it was a lot more healthy and spectacular. Just the right amount of food.

I hate to write a bad review, because I love Edo and normally have good experiences. The food and particularly the sauce is delicious. My go to is sumo sized beef and teriyaki, with double meat. It's expensive but worth it. However, when you're paying around $22+ for a meal you expect to get what you order. I got home and there was less meat than a single order. Literally almost no meat at all, so they doubled up on the cabbage. I don't understand what happened but I paid for double meat and got almost no meat and lots of mushroom I think. Also asked for 4 scoops of sauce and watched her only put 2. I mentioned it but was ignored. The older gentleman that is normally there and seems to be in control was not around, I don't know if this affected things or not. Anyway, very very angry and disapointed.
REVIEW UPDATE: After contacting EDO as the managers reply requested, the owner immediately contacted me and apologized and rectified the situation. His concern and demeanor alone convinced me that this was a one off accident and not the norm for this location. He showed me that they care, both about their customers and their reputation. Based on this I am chalking it up to freak accident. I am reversing my stars in the rating here too. Instead of 1 star I now give 4. If there's a problem they are willing to fix it. I will go back to this location (crowfoot crossing).

For many years my husband and I have been eating at Edo in Crowfoot. Food was good . After Crona price almost doubled the meat and vegetable portion is less basically they serve you rice and not much meat or vegitables.

I recently visited Edo of Japan in Crowfoot, and despite the busy location, the service was friendly and fast. It didn’t take long for me to get my food. I ordered the teriyaki chicken on rice, and it hit the spot. The location is organized and clean, with many patrons enjoying a meal sitting down, while others opted for takeout. Overall, a great spot for a quick and delicious meal.
Pretty standard for edo, good service can’t complain about anything.

We recently went to an Edi restaurant in Edmonton and the food was fresh and portion size was good value. The Calgary Crowfoit location food quality was poor and the portion was about half of what we received in Edmonton. I will never eat at this restaraunt again. A complete rip off.

I have generally had good experiences with Edo Japan, but some recent experiences have made me want to lower my current standings. When I ordered the food online, the food was improperly packaged. The teriyaki sauce was literally stored in a cup covered with a flimsy piece of serene wrap on a cup as if it would do something if it spilled (foreshadowing). It arrived and immediately spilled on my carpet, the stain is still there to this day.
