Friendly Service That Stood Out!
My wife and I stopped by this Edo Japan location while shopping at Ikea and decided to grab lunch. We weren't sure what to order, but the staff member at the till was friendly and helped us choose a couple of options that turned out to be exactly what we were looking for.
Since we were dining in, we found a table while our food was prepared. The pickup staff were welcoming when our order was ready, and the positive experience continued after we sat down. A staff member checked in to see how our food was, and later the same person who helped us order came by to make sure we were happy with our meal. That's the kind of service I expect at a sit-down restaurant, not usually at a fast-food location, so it definitely stood out.
The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and someone had the 80s hits playing, which added a fun touch to the visit. What impressed me most was how genuinely happy the staff seemed. You can usually tell when people are simply getting through a shift, but this team appeared to enjoy what they were doing, and it created a welcoming environment.
As for the food, everything tasted fresh. The vegetables were crisp, the portions were satisfying, and the flavours were exactly what we were hoping for.
We live in Calgary's northwest and don't find ourselves in this area often, but if we lived closer, we'd probably be regular customers. Based on this visit, I'd happily stop in again the next time we're at Ikea.

We ordered sushi, beef soup, and bubble tea Mango and milk tea from Edo Japan for me and my daughter, and everything was fresh and delicious. The sushi was well-prepared and tasty, the beef soup was warm and comforting, and the bubble tea was refreshing.
The order arrived on time and was well-packaged. Overall, a great delivery experience, and we would definitely order again.

Every time Iβve been here and have ordered double beef it doesnβt even seem like a single portion. Charging customers extra and giving them way less than double is unacceptable.
The staff's customer service is the best I have experienced. Amazing vibe between co workers.

Had dinner tonight. Big fan of Edo. I do have one issue. Both my wife and I ordered yakisoba noodles and though the upcharge states clearly on the menu that its $0.50, we were charged $1 for each order. When I pointed out to the cashier, she just gave me a dollar back. When I told her that their till needs to be corrected, she just smiled. Its not much money, but its dishonest and not legal.

Ordered from here multiple times through uber eats. They constantly forget to include items I ask for like chili sauce, utensils and the portions are smaller than other edo locations

Super clean location. Staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. I've come here a few times but today I brought my husband and he was impressed. He even loved that the stools had felt bottoms and didn't make loud noises lol
